03/04/2024: How to happily find yourself in a roadside restaurant like in the 70s at the time of Max Meynier. Menu for €15 with homemade aperitif, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, pitcher of wine and coffee. An original and welcoming owner who provides cooking and service. A good time spent by chance during a visit to the Billaude waterfall at lunchtime.

31/03/2024: Frog session: excellent. It's really a place to recommend. In addition, the staff is pleasant, available and efficient, which made for a very successful evening.

27/03/2024: Passing through the region, discovered this restaurant on Sunday lunchtime. We ate very well, it's nice to meet such a welcoming couple of owners, it's becoming rare these days... looking forward to meeting again!

19/03/2024: No welcome when we arrived, we had to take the key to our room alone after instructions sent by text!!! Room OK but stained bedspread, which was changed after complaint. Noise pollution at the foot of the hotel caused by customers of the brasserie located opposite, many noisy young people on the terrace until midnight - one in the morning!!! Too bad for a three star. Decent restaurant although one member of staff is not very friendly. Good dishes overall except the totally tasteless Jura fondue.

09/05/2024: How can we describe the spa other than using flattering superlatives? The experience began with making an appointment with Caroline. On the day of the service, we were given a warm welcome, Caroline as charming and smiling as we imagine on the phone. The treatments perfectly adapted to our skin and the access to the different wellness areas of the spa while sipping the delicious red vine herbal tea made this moment wonderfully magical. A very, very big thank you to Caroline and Hélène for their sensitivity, their kindness and their valuable advice.

29/04/2024: Good morning, We stayed at your establishment this weekend. The whole stay was nothing but disappointment: it was a gift with half a bottle of champagne, when we arrived in the room there was no bottle of champagne! We had asked for a room with a view of the park, we had seen it on the road! The parquet floor in the bathroom is extremely damaged, the shower pipes leaking in 2 separate places, the shower joints leave something to be desired! We also had the evening meal planned - about the cooking, nothing to say, on the other hand the apprentice trainees who do not articulate during the presentation of the dishes and when we ask them for a little more details, they blurt out, we will have to train them a little better! And the best part, the maître d' (well I guess) who either rolls his eyes when we talk to him or who leaves our table when we haven't finished talking to him, what great moments!!! !! We had been told about the beauty of the park, but what a disappointment! totally abandoned, uncut grass, unmaintained marshes, green waste roughly deposited at the bottom of the park in 2 trees! No flowers or flowering trees! Offering a breakfast for €35 with hot chocolate with water and not real hot chocolate is unacceptable! At check-out, we were shown the invoice with the food and wine pairing from the previous day's meal even though it was included in our box! In short, only missteps all along! Fortunately we had a treatment planned at the spa, the team there is welcoming and warm and allowed us to have a somewhat less bitter taste about our stay. It was our first stay in a Relais & Châteaux, and most certainly our last!

12/12/2023: A great restaurant in this charming village, the chef, Francois Moureau, is passionate about quality, good regional products that he knows how to sublimate and in a very reasonable price range, we enjoy ourselves, A feast at a low price, a bargain. The service is also very gracious and attentive. The terrace behind in the courtyard garden is a pleasure. the cellar also honors local wines. Be careful to book, some days the restaurant is often full.

03/12/2023: in our village of Bonlieu we are lucky to have a restaurant offering good quality gourmet cuisine, the owners are very friendly and attentive, I had a lovely evening with my family, we will come back...

03/05/2024: Before ending our vacation in the hamlets of the Cascades, we wanted to have our meal at the Cascades pizzeria. You are welcomed in a beautiful restaurant room adjoining the bar. The room is clean and quiet considering the number of tables served. We had a dozen snails as a starter followed by aflamenkuch, a Nordic pizza and a small salad of pan-fried chicken liver. As an accompaniment, coke, limo, apple juice and a Jura white beer (brewed at ROUSSES) For dessert, 2 ☕️ Liège and a cup of 3 sorbet and pine green followed by a coffee. We enjoyed ourselves for 2 hours without seeing the time tick by. A mention to the chef for the chicken liver salad. The service was impeccable from start to finish despite a certain crowd at the bar and in the dining room. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. The parking lot in front of the establishment does the job... be careful when crossing, the vehicles drive too fast. Access is complicated for PMR unless I missed something. This is a beautiful evening, in a place that deserves to be spent there. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant
