A great restaurant in this charming village, the chef, Francois Moureau, is passionate about quality, good regional products that he knows how to sublimate and in a very reasonable price range, we enjoy ourselves, A feast at a low price, a bargain. The service is also very gracious and attentive. The terrace behind in the courtyard garden is a pleasure. the cellar also honors local wines. Be careful to book, some days the restaurant is often full.

in our village of Bonlieu we are lucky to have a restaurant offering good quality gourmet cuisine, the owners are very friendly and attentive, I had a lovely evening with my family, we will come back...

For almost 30 years we have been driving via Bonlieu and la Poutre specifically to eat when we are traveling in France. That probably says it all.

The Auberge de La Poutre is a very authentic restaurant with sophisticated, tasty cuisine, up to date. The entire service was perfect from start to finish. Special mention for our waitress (whose name we do not know) but whom we would like to thank once again for her sympathy and kindness. This is becoming so rare... PS: the boys will be lucky to enjoy the treats after their race.. ;) Thanks again. Laetitia & Juliette.

We celebrated our husband's 50th birthday, invited by my mother...great service, very welcoming staff, and the meal was great. Looking forward to going back. THANKS

À découvrir sans hésiter !! Nous avons séjourné à l'Auberge le temps d'une nuit, et avons profité du dîner ainsi que du petit-déjeuner. L'auberge est très bien aménagée. Les chambres sont parfaitement entretenues et spacieuses. Mention spéciale pour le personnel qui est toujours à votre écoute, d'une sympathie et d'un accueil hors paire. Le restaurant vaut absolument le détour. Le chef maîtrise son sujet, et exécute à la perfection tous les plats de la carte ou des différents menus proposés. Félicitations, et MERCI à toute l'équipe de l'Auberge de La Poutre! Nous nous réjouissons de vous revoir très prochainement. Et pour celles/ceux qui ne connaissent pas encore ce lieu d'exception, excellente découverte !

La cascade

10/05/2024: Good atmosphere, authentic and friendly service. The meal is a little rich, but good. A good address on the road. Treat yourself to a frosted lemon or a frosted orange To try !
03/05/2024: Before ending our vacation in the hamlets of the Cascades, we wanted to have our meal at the Cascades pizzeria. You are welcomed in a beautiful restaurant room adjoining the bar. The room is clean and quiet considering the number of tables served. We had a dozen snails as a starter followed by aflamenkuch, a Nordic pizza and a small salad of pan-fried chicken liver. As an accompaniment, coke, limo, apple juice and a Jura white beer (brewed at ROUSSES) For dessert, 2 ☕️ Liège and a cup of 3 sorbet and pine green followed by a coffee. We enjoyed ourselves for 2 hours without seeing the time tick by. A mention to the chef for the chicken liver salad. The service was impeccable from start to finish despite a certain crowd at the bar and in the dining room. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. The parking lot in front of the establishment does the job... be careful when crossing, the vehicles drive too fast. Access is complicated for PMR unless I missed something. This is a beautiful evening, in a place that deserves to be spent there. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant

Le Saut de la Forge

12/09/2023: Very beautiful, free entrance, not suitable for the disabled, dog can come along, Jan walks a bit to the next waterfalls. In and just after the summer there is little water through the waterfall, but it remains a beautiful sight. Due to the little water in the summer, you can walk through the stream to take beautiful photos.
15/08/2023: Even in these times when water is lacking... superb.
