How can we describe the spa other than using flattering superlatives? The experience began with making an appointment with Caroline. On the day of the service, we were given a warm welcome, Caroline as charming and smiling as we imagine on the phone. The treatments perfectly adapted to our skin and the access to the different wellness areas of the spa while sipping the delicious red vine herbal tea made this moment wonderfully magical. A very, very big thank you to Caroline and Hélène for their sensitivity, their kindness and their valuable advice.

Amazing stay away, a true 5 star, great gem in the country. Massive thank you to Arthur for his unforgettable service! Strongly recommend eating at their little bistro, elevated home cooked food with brilliant staff. Beautiful garden to walk around it and great breakfasts cooked by Michelin started kitchen. Love the bikes offered on site. Second time back in this hotel.

Dear, I would like to send you this letter to express my deep disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during our recent visit to your establishment on March 29, 2024. First of all, allow me to point out that we had a pleasant time at your establishment and that we greatly appreciated the quality of your service as well as the delicacy of your dishes. However, an event occurred at the end of the meal which considerably tainted our experience. In fact, knowing that friends were coming the next day to celebrate a birthday, I asked the sommelier to prepare a bottle of champagne for their aperitif. I was extremely upset to find that this request had been forgotten and that the bottle of champagne was only given to my friends at the end of the meal. This negligence on the part of your team is simply unacceptable, especially for an establishment of your reputation and standing. (1 Michelin guide star and Relais Château…) I am deeply disappointed, I expected impeccable service from your team. In the hope that you give due importance to this incident and that corrective measures are taken to prevent such a situation from happening again in the future.

Very good stay. However, some negative points: the outfit of the restaurant service staff does not make them stand out at all: chinos pants too short with suspenders... the restaurant service staff runs everywhere, traffic jams of trays on the deserted tables, and service very very long. At breakfast, the staff is also full of goodwill but seems overwhelmed and is running around again. this does not give an image of mastery of the service.

For the restaurant, impeccable service, very pleasant setting, but poor quality/price ratio. Overpriced wines. Even if you meet the highest standard of quality, you display prohibitive prices. More expensive than at BLANC or LAMELOISE (starred *).

Castle hotel with great charm. However, booking a standard room with a size of around 20 square meters is not recommended, as the bathtub under the slant can only be used by children. Wonderful beds. The bistro in the village is part of the hotel and is highly recommended (also awarded a Bib Gourmand). The relatively expensive star restaurant is located in the hotel itself. Excellent breakfast buffet with high quality products. Hot dishes are freshly prepared. The delicious cooked ham, its wonderful smell and unique taste reminded me of the cooked ham from our butcher in my youth.

We arrived at the Hotel on Friday 02/16 around 2:30 p.m. In fact, we had booked 2 treatments at 3 and 4 p.m. The staff accompanied us to our room (n°52) and when we entered, we were amazed because we had the impression that someone had 'jumped' on the bed! When we returned from our treatments, we noticed very questionable cleaning in the room: fingerprints around the wardrobe doors, toilet paper still in the toilet, toilet not flushed, dusty bathrobes. Dinner goes very well. We would have appreciated tablecloths or failing that (on the eco-friendly side) placemats on the tables. Also a warmer room decor. The next morning we arrived at 9am for breakfast and waited until 9:30am, and after complaint, to get coffee and tea. It was the same for the other tables. In short, 35€ per person for breakfast, not up to par at all. For us, this establishment does not deserve these 5 stars.
