09/05/2024: A well-deserved Michelin star. We chose a surprise meal in 7 courses, with wine and food pairing. The dishes followed one another brilliantly, each finer than the last, and more particularly a great discovery of caviar.

30/03/2024: Very hearty royal couscous for a birthday and a table of 11 people, a week ago. The quality was there from start to finish. The 2 people in the kitchen are in tune with the chef-waiter, who accompanies his guests with finesse and humor. Happy place that I highly recommend. Thank you Chef !

04/04/2024: Very special, elegant atmosphere, pleasantly enlivened by the huge painting by Grison "Fête du Village". So many attentive and nice young restaurant professionals - servers and sommeliers. The food was imaginative and plentiful - with lots of attention. Definitely very filling! Interesting ingredients to read for later: the escargots from Ebersheim, the Pinot noir from Gut Dahlmann, the sanglier from the Vosges (sustainable;-)) with the Gin Rosa from the distillery in Strasbourg itself, the beurre de Bresse....A Experience!
04/04/2024: La cuisine est délicieuse et inventive de l’entrée au dessert. L’entrée avec des escargots était parfaite. Le poisson était cuit à la perfection, le cochon accompagné d’une endive farcie excellente.

11/05/2024: Very unfriendly staff. We wanted to go for a drink after our evening walk. We were turned away on the grounds that there is only one place to eat, a glass of beer after a hike is not welcome, and there were four of us, there were plenty of free tables - so no obstacle. 👎👎👎👎

The welcome is particularly warm, the service is high quality and fast.

03/05/2024: I was there several times, and I was never disappointed. This is why I chose S’kastele to introduce Alsatian cuisine to my friends from the Ardennes. Once again everything was excellent from the food to the service, the local and seasonal beer, the quality cuisine, copious portions and even a vegetarian option.
