A well-deserved Michelin star. We chose a surprise meal in 7 courses, with wine and food pairing. The dishes followed one another brilliantly, each finer than the last, and more particularly a great discovery of caviar.

I had the chance to eat in various gourmet restaurants, including Epicure (what a scam) and Pierre Gagnaire in Paris. Last night, 1741 offered me one of the most beautiful gastronomic experiences of my life. Everything was impeccable. The superlative service, the generous, authentic, direct, careful, delicate and unabashed cuisine. A special mention to the variation on the theme of asparagus as well as to the dessert which took me straight back to my childhood. This restaurant deserves a second star.

I had forgotten the comment, flute... ;-) I admit that I have difficulty finding the words, this experience was so divine! A journey into sensations, impressions, sometimes even shaking up preconceived ideas somewhat. By mixing flavors and textures, with certain associations that I would never have imagined, I admit that I have often been surprised, but always in a good way! And my wife will not contradict me... But we must not forget the service, just as perfect... Without them, the experience would certainly not be the same! In summary, a very, very nice discovery that we will not fail to repeat...

04/04/2024: Very special, elegant atmosphere, pleasantly enlivened by the huge painting by Grison "Fête du Village". So many attentive and nice young restaurant professionals - servers and sommeliers. The food was imaginative and plentiful - with lots of attention. Definitely very filling! Interesting ingredients to read for later: the escargots from Ebersheim, the Pinot noir from Gut Dahlmann, the sanglier from the Vosges (sustainable;-)) with the Gin Rosa from the distillery in Strasbourg itself, the beurre de Bresse....A Experience!
01/04/2024: It had been a dream for years to eat AU CROCODILLE and for my birthday I was given a wonderful surprise. 1) the interest of the service as soon as you sit down to ask if the dog wants some water. A very important gesture. Once the bowl was brought they asked us what we would like to drink 🤩 I don't want to dwell unnecessarily. We were welcomed fantastically. The service was kind, smiling, very attentive. The spectacular cuisine. I will definitely come back other times. I recommend it with all my heart 💖
