10/05/2024: From my point of view, overrated restaurant. The prices of wines by the glass and starters are very high... the meats are not of the quality charged...
Not to mention the apple juice for €7...
We are at Paris prices... without the expected quality.
Only the atmosphere saves the evening a little (the setting is magnificent).
In short, for 300€ for 4 people we expected to have a great time... we left more than disappointed.
Personally I advise against...
28/04/2024: On April 27, 2024, during our stay in Périgueux, we had initially reserved a table in another restaurant. However, as we wandered through the streets, despite the weather not being conducive to strolling, a kind soul recommended your establishment to us.
We were enchanted by the magnificent setting, the special attention paid by the servers and the quality of the dishes served. A real congratulations to the whole team for this memorable experience.

03/04/2024: Great find in the centre of Périgueux. We hadn't booked and were lucky to get a table for two (it is recommended to book). Excellent attentive service and delicious dishes, from starters to desserts, well presented and proportioned just right. We'll be back if visiting the area again.

25/02/2024: A very nice discovery. A slightly high price justified by real work in the kitchen crowned with a well-deserved star. A treat for the taste buds. Impeccable, friendly and discreet service. Prior reservation recommended, the two rooms can only accommodate a few guests which adds a touch of intimacy to this place. Ideally located at the foot of St Front Cathedral in a pedestrian street. There are numerous parking lots nearby. The only downside, the tables without tablecloths on Valentine's Day, which will not prevent us from coming back and recommending this beautiful address.

16/04/2024: It is in a nice little square, small restaurant well presented, the staff were very accommodating, the food is good quality but not big portions, we quite often share the naan bread and rice, here you definitely need to order your own here.

The 2 servers are very pleasant, attentive and smiling HOWEVER, we cannot say the same about this Mr (in a checkered shirt with a sleeveless vest), who was behind the bar (which I had in the middle of the line of mire) who kept making remarks and/or grimaces of annoyance towards these 2 waiters who were struggling to serve everyone without waiting! Mr, if you are the boss, refrain! This is very unpleasant for your customers and even more so for your employees, who despite everything always kept a smile.

We opted for a winegrower's menu with a food and wine pairing.
A very nice discovery of this place in the heart of old Périgueux.
It is a real pleasure to be able to taste traditional dishes revisited with modernity but keeping the spirit of the initial dishes.
I highly recommend the winemaker's menu.
Each dish is beautifully accompanied, with many taste surprises throughout the meal.
The dishes are generous and the restaurant team is extremely attentive and pleasant with the guests.
I recommend this address without hesitation

12/11/2023: Delicious cocktails with alcohol, too bad they are served in such small quantities! The foie gras is not very tasty, the fish bathed in its sauce is not very appealing even if in the end it is quite good. The desserts are not great (half-cooked chocolate without originality worthy of a supermarket, the restructured rice pudding is tasteless, it is difficult to recognize its taste.)
I will end with a positive note for their duck breast dish accompanied by its small vegetables, advice to fans, it is succulent and worth the detour.
03/11/2023: Refined and gourmet cuisine. I loved it, the chef is unusual, I love the cozy atmosphere, a place where you can chat at the table discreetly without hubbub.
And the prices are reasonable given the quality found on the plates. A place where I would be very happy to return.
