Lunch for 2 on a Sunday noon.
We opted for a winegrower's menu with a food and wine pairing.
A very nice discovery of this place in the heart of old Périgueux.
It is a real pleasure to be able to taste traditional dishes revisited with modernity but keeping the spirit of the initial dishes.
I highly recommend the winemaker's menu.
Each dish is beautifully accompanied, with many taste surprises throughout the meal.
The dishes are generous and the restaurant team is extremely attentive and pleasant with the guests.
I recommend this address without hesitation

We had an excellent evening at Clos Saint Front. The setting is very pleasant, both warm and intimate, the team is there to take care of you. We had the winegrower's menu which allowed us to be surprised and make great discoveries. The meal was incredible, special mention for the saber cut meat and for the vanilla monkfish which I will remember as long as the one cooked on the walnut shells 😉.
If you want to discover a divine restaurant in Périgueux you can go there with your eyes closed.

On the sidewalk, no storefront, fortunately we had the address, the entrance is buried in greenery.
We were welcomed with great kindness and kindness, and directed to the terrace where the weather was very good, but in case we were a little cold, we were given a large stole, what thoughtfulness! This terrace is immersed in greenery, and throughout the meal we were treated to the chirping of chattering birds and the songs of blackbirds releasing trills.
Our meal was a treat, the egg perfectly cooked in front of us, truffled cream with mushrooms, diced Jerusalem artichokes smoked with Chinese tea, black bread rolls: excellent with an unusual and exceptional presentation. Monkfish with trio of cabbages (cauliflower, Chinese cabbage, kale) a small cabbage garnished with cauliflower puree flavored with vanilla, an original and delicious dish. For the cheese, we can only recommend the duo cabécou ice cream and cabécou du Périgord with honey, a surprising but exquisite combination...For dessert, we opted in unison for a caramelized millefeuille with apples and speculoos, salted caramel ice cream, sauce vanilla/geranium, a subtle blend of flavors, hot, cold and crispy: EXTRA! All served with great kindness and professionalism. In short, we had an exceptional time in serenity. We will come back.
