While training in Caen, I had the pleasure of having a wonderful culinary encounter in this “Unusual” establishment. The baroque decoration is made with great charm and elegance. On the culinary side, I was able to taste a very tender beef cheek and finish with French toast which I highly recommend. In terms of presentation, the dishes are very pretty and the room service is in keeping with the establishment. The welcome and friendliness of "Madame Brigitte" are most charming and I invite you to know her story about the name of the restaurant. An unusual and warm place at the same time. The managers are great 👍 We had high quality dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant. Looking forward to returning there.

We ate extremely well, the new foie gras starter is excellent, one of the best we have eaten. We were very well received and served. For me this restaurant is the best in Vaugueux. You can go there with your eyes closed, it’s so good and plentiful!

Nothing to complain about the service and the quality of the dishes, but remember to ask for the drinks menu because a cocktail (Valentine's Day) costs 12€ for 13cl.

29/03/2024: I have been coming to this restaurant for lunch for several years, and I have always enjoyed it! A starter buffet with fresh produce and salads that are truly amazing! The smoked saithe (garlic sauce) with brown rice was cooked to perfection, I am very picky about fish and I loved it, thank you! I also learned that they make wood-fired pizzas in the evening, I can't wait to try it! Highly recommended!
