I have been coming to this restaurant for lunch for several years, and I have always enjoyed it! A starter buffet with fresh produce and salads that are truly amazing! The smoked saithe (garlic sauce) with brown rice was cooked to perfection, I am very picky about fish and I loved it, thank you! I also learned that they make wood-fired pizzas in the evening, I can't wait to try it! Highly recommended!

Restaurant L'insolite

23/03/2024: While training in Caen, I had the pleasure of having a wonderful culinary encounter in this “Unusual” establishment. The baroque decoration is made with great charm and elegance. On the culinary side, I was able to taste a very tender beef cheek and finish with French toast which I highly recommend. In terms of presentation, the dishes are very pretty and the room service is in keeping with the establishment. The welcome and friendliness of "Madame Brigitte" are most charming and I invite you to know her story about the name of the restaurant.
