On our way, we decided to stop in Blaye for a lunch break. Once there and a little wandering around, the Gavroche menu made our mouths water with its dishes whose recipes are quite original and the fact of being able to eat outside (in this month of chilly April, the sun was welcome). The dishes served were up to par and we enjoyed ourselves.
I take my hat off to the owners for the service and the cooking, just the two of them, I'm amazed!
My husband loved what he ate and found the bill very reasonable.
Thank you for this good time.

The service is cold at start-up, but improves over time, which is a bit of a shame
The dishes are good and work but the value for money is a little expensive
The setting is a little dark but pleasant
This remains a good address for the surrounding area.

Disappointed with this restaurant which according to the reviews was ok
The meat was not respected in terms of cooking, we asked for medium rare and it was rare or the opposite
The potatoes were dry for us, probably reheated and in small quantities.
So we had dessert elsewhere
On the other hand, the waiter well done, very good service.

Very good experience.... Very nice waiter, very good cuisine, original for certain dishes.... We had a very good time and we enjoyed ourselves.... unfortunately, no more room for a dessert because the plates are generous....
