If my stroll through the streets of Saint Malo left me thinking for a long time that we were in the kingdom of the creperie, at the bend of an alley we had the happiness, the luck or perhaps the intuition to return in this small establishment, simple but charming, elegant but unpretentious. A pearl hidden behind the tourist food vendors, a pearl where you can find real Malouins. A traditional, totally homemade cuisine where vegetables take a good place on the plates offering a choice of meat and fish. Starter, main course and dessert everything was perfect and for a more than reasonable price. Thanks to its enthusiasts who revive our taste buds.

Excellent value. Subtle and careful cuisine; everything is quality from homemade bread to homemade dessert. This is made possible by a small but well thought-out map. Remember to book.

We have been coming for several years, never disappointed. Menu with seasonal products, very good wine list, adorable staff, very friendly and family atmosphere.

Excellent little bistro with real sense of food and wine. A find!

A treat for the taste buds ! The dishes were cooked with local and fresh products, the welcome and the service were both attentive and simple. We had an excellent evening !

We visited the restaurant yesterday and we really likes the environment. Unfortunately the only waitress working there didn’t speak English at all and the language barrier. The menu was only in French and we struggled to understand and translate the food on the translation app. I explained that I am pregnant and have food restrictions and it seems that the waitress got it. We had two starters and two main dishes. I ordered the pigeon dish and kindly asked them to cook the meat well down due to pregnancy. The waitress seems she understood as she said “bien”. However the meat was not cooked well done and looked bloody . Immediately I signed to the chef who was passing by and kindly explained him that I am pregnant and have ordered the meat to be cooked well done and asked him if he could replace it. He said it’s difficult but he would do it . I found his behaviour very rude as no one of them (neither the chef nor the waitress) apologised and he hesitated when I explained him that the bloody meat is not suitable for my pregnancy. Later, the waitress brought me the plate with the pigeon and seemed a bit annoyed and didn’t apologise for the mistake. When I cut the meat the pigeon breast was bloody again. It seems he only replace the piece that I cut and put another one in the plate. Very disappointing as they didn’t care and didn’t pay attention to a very serious health issue and they treated with no respect. The photos shows the pigeon meat AFTER it was replaced and again the meat was bloody .
