La Chancellerie sur Orleans

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends. We were there on a public holiday, the establishment was crowded and the waiters, especially the one serving in the dining room, were very stressed, very curt in his responses, he was running everywhere and did not exude serenity. We were afraid to ask him. After ordering 2 glasses of champagne, accompanied by a few olives (surprising!), we chose the fish-based menus. Before, I had a foie gras (excellent) as a starter and then a fillet of sea bream that was a little overcooked for my taste. We did not want to continue and left without dessert. The setting is pleasant, the white tablecloths give a “smart” character to this restaurant. That said, considering the price 120€ for two, surely better in Orléans. Passing through this city, we will not return. A very positive point is the kindness and humor of the bartender, a very experienced waiter who knows his job well.

We had a starter-main course menu. The products were fresh and super good. The server was very friendly and very responsive.

We had a very pleasant time, tasty meal and warm welcome from Shannon. The rest of the market, at the front of the Joana D'arc square, where you hear all the difference, super nice... Strange atmosphere with servers who are as excited as fleas and cannot do without sometimes unpleasant comments about others... Effective service on the other hand The dishes are good but the infamous tiramisu should be avoided!! The prices of the desserts are greatly exaggerated.... Beautiful interior decoration.

I am very disappointed with our meal on Sunday 28/04 waiting time plus quality of the catastrophic lunch too bad we weren't used to it?

Small drink on the terrace 1 coffee 1 strawberry diabolo 7€, with a lovely view of the Place du Martroi. Super nice server. I recommend this establishment.

Restaurant located in the city center on Place du Martroi. I tasted tagliatelle with shrimp. A delight!

Terrific terrace in the sun. Unfortunately the kitchen is very mediocre☹️

After a good experience in October 2021... very disappointing new visit. There were 8 of us on Saturday at noon and we waited a very long time to spend 2 hours at the table in total. The map is not long. The servers are very active but it is not working. However the food is good. Damage !

Very good meal, warm atmosphere, smiling and fast servers... I recommend +++, reasonable price
