We had reservations and luckily. The farm inn was full. We feasted. The service is provided with great kindness and a smile. Really at the top. I recommend this farm inn.

Inn discovered by chance in winter. Every winter I go back at least once with groups of around ten people. Small, simple and warm farm inn. Never disappointed, but it's better to book

Nothing has changed for years and that’s good!! Always very friendly, and dishes 'like at home'. A must-visit hostel. Thank you again and see you soon.

23/02/2024: Generous, delicious, inexpensive cuisine (very substantial dish of the day for €11) and great hospitality!
31/12/2023: We were very well received. The boss is accommodating. The daily menu is unbeatable in terms of value for money (€11 for a small starter + main course).

Auberge du Schantzwasen

26/04/2024: Typical inn of our mountains with a menu of very succulent Alsatian dishes and above all with local products. We chose as a starter: Marbled elk and duck foie gras - Marmalade with blueberries and Duck foie gras flavored with Gewurtzraminer - Toasted Kougelhopf. Then for the dishes: Marcaire Plate: Roïgabrageldi*, smoked collar - Green salad and Cordon Rouge from Schantzwasen (Beef sirloin, Parma ham, Barikass). We enjoyed the good value for money. Then, we visited the reindeer farm since we had a beautiful sunny day with 20°. It was a great discovery! We highly recommend this farm inn.
23/04/2024: We had lunch here on Easter Sunday, to be sure of finding a place we booked by email. The place is well looked after and the staff is professional and friendly, a child-friendly place. Every dish was succulent. The children had ham and chips, we adults took the platter, the Fleischschnaka and the Spaetzle, to finish with two homemade desserts. Prices are above average, but worth every euro spent. After lunch we visited the reindeer farm where the children had a lot of fun.
