We were very well received. The boss is accommodating. The daily menu is unbeatable in terms of value for money (€11 for a small starter + main course).

This restaurant is one of the good surprises of the road... A daily menu at 11€ including a homemade soup or terrine followed by a unique dish and this day it was cod with its homemade vermouth sauce, a delight and what can we say about the homemade desserts... I highly recommend this restaurant which we discover during a stroll in Alsace

Good food and very good service. We went hiking and they gave us a place to stay and get warm and dry again.

26/04/2024: Typical inn of our mountains with a menu of very succulent Alsatian dishes and above all with local products. We chose as a starter: Marbled elk and duck foie gras - Marmalade with blueberries and Duck foie gras flavored with Gewurtzraminer - Toasted Kougelhopf. Then for the dishes: Marcaire Plate: Roïgabrageldi*, smoked collar - Green salad and Cordon Rouge from Schantzwasen (Beef sirloin, Parma ham, Barikass). We enjoyed the good value for money. Then, we visited the reindeer farm since we had a beautiful sunny day with 20°. It was a great discovery! We highly recommend this farm inn.
23/04/2024: We had lunch here on Easter Sunday, to be sure of finding a place we booked by email. The place is well looked after and the staff is professional and friendly, a child-friendly place. Every dish was succulent. The children had ham and chips, we adults took the platter, the Fleischschnaka and the Spaetzle, to finish with two homemade desserts. Prices are above average, but worth every euro spent. After lunch we visited the reindeer farm where the children had a lot of fun.
