24/05/2024: Having discovered this restaurant 8 years ago, as a pastry apprentice for a CFA who had an apprentice in the restaurant, I was a bit disappointed by this return to basics after so many years. Overall, we both had a great time: the flavors are always surprising, pleasant and subtle, all with impeccable presentation. BUT. I am disappointed that the restaurant has lost a little of its graphic touch compared to before: it was a restaurant where each dish looked like a dessert and used fruits and vegetables in a surprising way, and it has become a (very good) 'carte blanche' style restaurant. It's not serious at all, and doesn't detract from the intrinsic quality of the restaurant, but I found it a bit of a shame. On the other hand, the service was very unpleasant: always nice to see that good restaurants give young people the opportunity to train, but when you pay so much for a restaurant, being rushed from the start to the end of the meal is very unpleasant . The plates were cleared as soon as they were empty, the penultimate was not even when the waiter's arm appeared between my partner and me, in the middle of a discussion, to be removed from the table. In the end, we had the impression of having to hurry throughout the meal, which is not great for a restaurant of this standing. But, once again, this in no way takes away from the sympathy and affability of the said servers: politeness and kindness were required. just a little too much stress which should not spoil the customers' meals. In terms of cuisine, we were just disappointed by the dessert, which we didn't understand at all. Then there was obviously a problem with the pastry cream since it escaped from the cigar, and had to be retained by a rose petal to hide misery, which unfortunately does not escape my pastry chef's eye. In short, everything was good, except this dessert which overall was unworthy of the quality of the rest of the meal. Thank you nevertheless for the meal, which was a very nice moment with my partner :) the restaurant has changed a lot in 8 years, which is normal, but it is not less good, it is just... changed :)

04/04/2024: Had 2 terrific dinners this week at Sacre Frenchy. Excellent food, drinks and service. Very comfortable ambiance. Not a problem that my fremch lamguage skills are dismal. Thank you Lilo and the staff for the terrific hospitality.

09/05/2024: The owners create a threatening atmosphere and deliberately poison the nervous system of their regular customer for many years in an inhumane and cold-blooded manner. Absolutely avoid!

05/04/2024: Best café in the neighborhood. Great French food, the service is probably the friendliest in Paris, you can feel that the owner does everything to make it into the best place possible . Go get your coffee there in the morning if you want a real Parisian experience.

19/03/2024: My my my ! How good and cheap it was! Parmesan cream shells or low-temperature chicken and homemade mash... for an unbeatable price in such a beautiful area. We loved the Cantal onion soup and WOW WOW WOW the cheesecake!!! But what a recipe! I don't usually like cheesecake, but when you put a speculoos biscuit underneath, a little lemon and a red fruit coulis... it gives a very balanced, light and exquisite mixture. Thank you to the cooks for their talent, to the waiters for their kindness, and to the designers for the atmosphere and the beautiful place. I'll be back !

30/03/2024: Absolutely loved(!!) this restaurant. Saw it “accidentally” while running errands. The whole experience was top notch: from the veggie soup for starters to the main dish (meatballs, bulgur and veg) and even the mint tea. As it was 3pm when I arrived, I was the only one there and had an amazing lengthy conversation with the owner, who’s a darling. 100% recommended!

18/05/2024: Another great evening to play with friends! 950 games available, welcoming staff, with strong sympathy and good advice for choosing games. The food offered is good. Special mention for the delicacies that accompany the coffees. I recommend and I will come back!

05/04/2024: Just the perfect place to have a bottle of wine and a planche mixte. The service is amazing and well organized. Great terrass (arrive early if you dont want to wait a bit) but the ambience inside is comfortable and with great music. 100% I always come back Its the 7th time I come and I always feels like making more reviews they are so organized amzing tapas and such a good service giving the circunstances! Best place to have a bottle of wine in Paris. Number 1 wine place.

On the other hand, the prices are exorbitant for the quality of the food at a very very basic level and the mayo sauces in Mac do style plastic bags... Horrible Also I have doubts about "home fries" we serve the same at the campsite in the south. I won't come back, I leave my place to our dear tourists

21/03/2024: Intimate restaurant with a warm atmosphere and well sheltered from the hubbub of Châtelet, the menu is basic but the food is very good. The staff is not only welcoming and very friendly. The new waitress is great and the legendary Djadja will be able to advise you if you don't know what to have It has become the legendary meeting place of the 3 musketeers and I highly recommend it. 🎼 Matthew

09/02/2024: The warm and beautiful proprietress introduced the specialties of the store in detail. I tried matcha and curry chicken. They were both delicious. Since I was going to have dinner soon, I saved them for the next day. After a 24-hour long journey back to Germany, I made them as desserts after the meal. Surprise! Love it so much. I will go there next time🫶🏼

19/05/2024: The Petit Dakar is a real gem! The mafé is incredible, and the sauce is simply divine. I have a slight preference for the vegetarian version with sweet potatoes, it's a treat. The menu isn't huge, but that's where the magic lies: the quality is truly felt in each plate. I had the pleasure of eating there with my little sister and my big brother, and we all loved it. The service is pleasant and professional, which adds a nice touch to the experience. I highly recommend this address to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent African meal.

14/05/2024: A great discovery. Marie the chef is a pearl of sweetness and this is felt in the dishes. Very warm welcome from Moussa. Very friendly atmosphere. Vegetarian mafé, alocos skewers, plate of raw vegetables and gourmet coffee, excellent and very well served, nice portion of the starter, main course and dessert. Affordable prices. I highly recommend this little gem of Dakar.
