Absolutely loved(!!) this restaurant. Saw it “accidentally” while running errands. The whole experience was top notch: from the veggie soup for starters to the main dish (meatballs, bulgur and veg) and even the mint tea. As it was 3pm when I arrived, I was the only one there and had an amazing lengthy conversation with the owner, who’s a darling. 100% recommended!

Delicious, generous cuisine and very friendly welcome. A great place to eat on the terrace or to take away. The best couscous I know in Paris, broth full of flavor. I recommend 100%

Superb discovery! I came by on a Tuesday and it was marinated coconut chicken with cauliflower and for me, who doesn't like vegetables, it was a real delight, I had never eaten so well 😋😋😋! Fresh, well-prepared products with a super cozy atmosphere where you can talk with the owner. It’s really an address to repeat that I recommend to any lover of good food!

Very nice discovery! Starter + main course / main course + dessert at €17 for freshness and generosity on the plate! Very good value for money. The tarragon chicken with its Gratin dauphinois was delicious. Plus: tea is offered at the start of the meal, the boss is super nice! What more could you ask for for a successful lunch? 😊 We will undoubtedly come back to taste the couscous on Thursday or Friday.

We were delighted to discover this little restaurant. The owner is ultra warm, her cooking is in her image, that is to say generous, delicious, tasty......... the couscous is "killer". Thank you, Madam, for delighting us. Stay as you are. Too bad we live too far away.

Fantastic couscous in this tiny restaurant, which also offers takeaway meals. Completely unexpected and delicious address. The welcome is very warm, friendly and gentle. Perfect for countering the absurd chain of junk food stores that are invading the Place de la République. We will come back with joy!

I love this very nice and delicious little restaurant 😋 in a timeless passage!!! Yasmina cooks delicious, gourmet, Mediterranean homemade dishes, with an absolutely delicious vegetarian option every day. Everything is homemade, even the desserts. And Yasmina is extremely pleasant

24/03/2024: My favorite restaurant in Paris. A casual atmosphere, and excellent monthly menu, and a talented husband and wife team. You don’t often find a place as enjoyable as this.
19/03/2024: Once in a while, you have an experience which reminds you of the joy of life. Our dinner at Le Chanard was such an experience. We could not have picked a better restaurant for our time in Paris, and we could not have encountered better hosts than the owner and his wife. You can read all the details about the restaurant in the other reviews - for this review, I simply want to say, this is a place of warmth and joy, and my only regret is not living here, and not being able to become a regular. Make a reservation (or you’re not likely to get a seat at one of the handful of tables!). Order all three courses, and wine. Spend some time here and enjoy one of the best dining experiences to be found in Paris. I promise, you won’t regret it. Edit: We were fortunate enough to visit again in March of 2024 for another wonderful experience. Antoine is still just as charming as we remembered, and Lisa is still a magnificent chef. We hope to come again next year!
