Pour ceux qui ont connu l'ancienne équipe cela n'a rien a voir ! L'accueil est agréable, le lieu sublime. L'assiette n'est pas au top, nous avons étés surpris par notre bouteille de vin qui a été ouverte en cuisine et donc nous est arrivée débouchée (ce n'est pas normal) Les pommes grenailles étaient des petites pommes de terre cuites à la vapeur avec la peau bien sur et non rissolées . En résumé rien a voir avec l'équipe d'avant Bons produits d'origine a vous de juger

A restaurant in a very beautiful environment, very pleasant and friendly service and excellent cuisine. The flavors are there. To return without hesitation.

Une très bonne cuisine mais un peu chère dans un décor simple mais genre ferme un peu froid. J'ai trouvé un peu surfait la cuisine.

We were regulars before the change of management, we returned recently. Unfortunately the menu is not up to par with the prices, it no longer has much in common with the Basque specialties that have made the establishment's reputation. The products are of quality but poorly implemented, e.g. very cooked red meat, the soup called fish soup is in reality between broth and velouté so the title is wrong, very succinct menu and is frankly not up to par. height (I was a sous chef and had the opportunity to work in popular restaurants in the past, hence my comments) The 3 stars are above all for the service, very pleasant, and for the commercial gesture of the management given the cooking errors etc... and the quality of the meal

08/03/2024: I haven't been there recently, but the owners were great. The meals were very good, humm the vine omelette and other dishes from the region. I really want to go back and see this beautiful Basque country. The owners are still there and what we see on their site and all the arrangements made make me want to stop there.

Restaurant Bonnet - Hotel du Fronton

13/05/2024: We had reserved a table for a family lunch this Thursday, May 9 and we were delighted! Both for the decor, terrace in the heart of the Basque greenery, and for the beauty and quality of the dishes. We had a blast! As for the service, it is top notch. Smiles and little jokes are there. Everything is there to have a great time.
27/02/2024: 8 of us came to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my parents-in-law. We were well received in a splendid setting with a view of the Pyrenees. Appetizer: leek velouté and grilled toast with duck breasts. Very good start! My daughter had the children's menu for €12: grated carrots, piece of beef/fries and two scoops of chocolate ice cream. She enjoyed it and it was quite filling. My son took the 28€ menu with Basquaise piperade/chorizo ​​crumble, candied egg yolk, braised beef medallion/candied apples and to finish off warm chocolate mousse. Tasty and hearty meal. The 6 adults took the menu for €38. Starters Crispy prawns/marinated vegetables/piquillo sorbet. My wife really appreciated it. Low-cooked egg/pork trotter cromesquis, porcini mushrooms/garlic emulsion. Perfect cooking and explosion of flavors. Dishes Hake from St Pée/bihia of small vegetables/duo of zucchini and shellfish veil. Excellent dish with incredible fish cooking. Iberian pork pluma cooked over a wood fire/sweet potato mousseline/oyster mushrooms and macaroon potatoes. A perfectly balanced blend with many flavors. The mushrooms were excellent. Desserts Brana pear soufflé. Dessert with strong flavor and very light accompanied by madeleine. Soaked biscuit/strawberries/strawberry sorbet/creamy lemon and mascarpone ganache. A slightly sweet dessert with lots of freshness. Finger caramelia/crispy hazelnut praline/guanaja ganache and apricot sorbet. A nice balance of flavor between praline and fruit. Sheep's cheese and cherry jam. An excellent meal without any downside!
