Ministry of Spice, France sur Paris

Lovely quaint Indian restaurant with a small but gourmet selection of tasteful Indian dishes with a twist. Dishes were custom-made to individual spice level. We had a lovely family dinner here on our last day in Paris and enjoyed all the vegetarian dishes, host Chanakhya was smiling & helpful and made it a memorable evening.

Small Indian restaurant with few tables, it is better to reserve otherwise you will have to leave due to lack of space. This restaurant has chosen quality and everything shows: welcome, atmosphere, decor, food and of course the plate!! It's just a treat, everything is excellent and tempting. There are 2 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts but you can be sure to enjoy them. The server was incredibly kind and heartwarming. He even gave us little chocolates for our boy and a slice of their famous pistachio cake because we talked about baking. The cumin rice was just perfect and super tasty and the lamb, a treat. Thank you for the welcome and for this quality of food, choose this type of restaurant and in particular this one over large industrial restaurants without flavors, noisy and where you will not enjoy yourself. We will come back during our next visit to Paris. Congratulations and keep it up.

Amazing food and service! We’re visiting Paris for 4 days have been looking for some good Indian food. We’ve tried a couple of other Indian places but we didn’t find them to be good. We’re finally glad to have found Ministry of Spice on the last day. We ordered malai kofta and butter chicken and both were really tasty. The food was flavorful and fresh. The butter naan was hot and crispy! The portion sizes were also decent compared to other places. The restaurant was very clean and ambient. And, lastly the owner was also very nice and friendly. We had a great conversation with him. He mentioned that they get all their spices custom made from India and they don’t use anything from here that you find in Indian grocery stores. If you are craving for some great Indian food and tired of not finding any good places in Paris (true for travelers like us), you should def come here.

Excellent restaurant, the service is fast and the cuisine is quality. The server was extremely friendly.
