Very good food. Highly recommend. Friendly staff

Excellent food and service, but very overpriced. Ordered the beef shoulder for 2, as recommended by our waiter (~95€) - and it was spot on; great flavor, tenderness and overall execution. But for the price point, I expected something more than what was essentially a very good pot roast. I would save your money and go somewhere else!

Small, crowded, simple decor, picnic style tables.. Mains excellent! Pricey. A returner on special occasions.

Please make a reservation, ot prepare to be turned away. We are here in Paris for 4 nights, and came back a 2nd night as the food is just amazing. From the lamb to the beef to the seabass, you can't go wrong. And gotta have the rice pudding.

I've been wanting to come and discover L'Ami Jean (renamed Stéphane or not?) for a while and what a pleasure to see a well-established machine. The entire team in front and behind comes together and takes turns under the leadership of Amandine in charge of the room service, with “Lolo” Laurent at the bar, and a second who does the rounds as a master attentive to details with fine discretion. Amandine places people, while placing orders and efficiently welcoming customers, a mix of savvy tourists, local professionals, regulars and newcomers. Even at midday, it's better to have a reservation or risk not finding a place because the place must be able to accommodate around thirty "duos" maximum inside and outside. There are refined French classics, executed perfectly and slightly enhanced with originality without overwhelming you if you want a real small, intimate French restaurant experience. There is a tasting menu but you have to ask for it and trust the Chef. Next time, if I come as a couple, I won't hesitate. A la carte, allow 20 euros for a starter, 45 for a main course, 12 for a glass of wine, 12-15 for a dessert.

Small authentic bistro with very welcoming staff. The cuisine is tasty, combining a clever blend of flavors. We had the tasting menu. I recommend it to you 😉

The food here is sublime. We had the 4 course degustation. The staff were considerate towards dietary requirements. The dessert at the end was amazing. Such exquisite cuisine!
