07/03/2024: For a Couscous Royal it was Royal! And I know what I'm talking about since I browse couscous restaurants wherever I can find them but which are unfortunately less and less authentic! In detail: Semolina cooked to order, “last minute” grilled meat, vegetable broth (carrots, white turnips, celery) cooked to perfection. Lamb shoulder simmering in broth gives a perfect taste! Very beautiful little restaurant excellently maintained by a family that has been there for several decades and it shows! I don’t dwell on the wine but as the restaurant is not very far from Bandol the choice is obvious. By the way there are many other choices in the restaurant!

06/05/2024: A tasty discovery in this small port of St Elme on a rainy day ☔️! We enjoyed xxl prawns and grilled John Dory accompanied by a tasty leek fondue… The desserts are not left out, we feel that they are homemade. Thank you for the welcome in the second service…

06/05/2024: If the setting is magnificent, the service and the cuisine are much less so. The restaurant is packed (240 seats, the factory...) inside and out, and the wait is endless with dishes that are not up to par for the price. We order 3 menus, including 3 monkfish fillets. After another interminable wait, we were told that there were no more monkfish. We fall back on the duck. As we finally begin the starter, an unfriendly and hasty waitress, who would surely benefit from changing jobs, comes to tell us that there is no more duck. We therefore retreat behind a fillet of beef accompanied precisely by a small potato and one (not two) asparagus... rather light as a garnish. Regarding the starters, we strongly advise against the salmon mousseline, an enticing title but far below our expectations, namely 3 thin slices of a tasteless puff pastry, not even crispy, garnished with 3 hazelnuts of a vague salmon mousse . Totally disappointing. As an introduction to this style of restaurant, there is better. Also avoid (barely) sparkling water, which is not fresh and costs more than 6 euros. Arriving at 12:30 p.m., we finished at 3:30 p.m., very happy to leave. All for 160 euros for 3 people, anyway. The sea view is expensive... Appalling. This establishment would do better to pamper its customers a little more instead of trying to make money. Clearly, it's no longer The Golden Wave that we knew... but it's certainly our last visit.
