06/05/2024: IN 1 WORD: ̶q̶u̶a̶l̶i̶t̶é̶ ̶ quantity MY TRIP: Arriving on a Monday at 11:45 a.m. the restaurant is open but empty of any customers. There is a step at the entrance. We open the door ourselves and discover all the decoration which brings back memories of the South-West. In front of us are three employees who welcome us with a smile and shake our hands. We immediately feel at home! *I specify that I am originally from Tarbes. My partner wanted me to discover this restaurant. It is actually a chain of restaurants located only in Paris and its inner suburbs. At 12:30 p.m. the restaurant fills up. The restaurant seems too small because the customers are crowded, but this location must have been chosen for the name of the street "du midi". The tables are sometimes pushed together, much to the dismay of customers. We were served quite quickly. People talk loudly because there is no music to regulate everything. Canteen atmosphere for local employees. Plates too loaded. No customer can finish. As always, I take the time to chat a little with the manager. He is friendly, we can see that he loves his job. Big inconsistency all the same: he is "100% Parisian by origin" he admits to me and to clear himself he explains to me that the man in the logo really existed and was born in Aveyron. He does not know if Aveyron is really in the South-West. I get a little angry with humor, we debate on the subject. When I leave I leave with a tense smile wondering where I have gone because the manager does not seem to know the S-O AT ALL GASTRONOMIC REVIEW: Landes salad served in a large, overfilled saucepan Undecided served in a deep plate too full, toast too big No one manages to finish so a lot of waste thrown in the trash There are bones in the gizzards I have never seen that BE CAREFUL probably from the cheap can I did not like Too oily Not seasoned enough And why was there no vinaigrette, even on the side? The glass of Meridian red wine was nothing more. I would have preferred to see the waiter fill my glass so I could have seen the bottle because the manager didn't seem to know that much about red wine (a treasure of the country though! !) so I even doubted whether it was a good wine that I had been served Dessert, the croustade tempted me but unfortunately I had no more room. I'll make one at home too bad. For once I'm really going to give my doggy-bag to my dogs because I didn't like it. In addition, I will have to remove each little piece of bone myself. GOOD POINTS: The decoration Warm welcome. NEGATIVE POINTS: They are not from the S-W and do not seem interested in it. Poor quality ingredients Excessive price Space too small compared to the number of customers Meal too large = waste SUMMARY: Here they favor quantity over quality Office canteen atmosphere in a restaurant chain Souvenir museum Very poor value for money If you like to eat like a pig and spend lavishly, go there If you like haute cuisine with quality local products, don't go there For my part I will come back to it if a breath of improvement is made ADVICE TO THE MANAGER: Expand the restaurant Improve ingredient quality Reduce your quantities Lower your prices Add music from SW Go travel to Aveyron, taste their Aligot on a farm, try their famous Chef BRAS restaurant Learn about wines or hire a sommelier Show the bottles to your customers We don't joke with the gastronomic and wine terroir of the South-West

04/05/2024: Discovery of this restaurant chain. Very good value for money, smiling staff, copious and very good dishes! We will come back with great pleasure to try the other recipes!

04/02/2024: We are regular customers. The restaurant is great, excellent food, always delicious.

03/04/2024: We took the trio: starter - main course - dessert. The fried spring roll starter, I found a little greasy for my taste and tasteless. The shrimp stir-fry dish was good, nothing more. I really liked the green “coconut and chestnut” dessert.

27/03/2024: A real treat for the taste buds and the eyes. It’s hearty, very good and nicely flavored. Original we travel! The service is perfect.

31/03/2024: The worst night of my life in terms of stomach after a meal in these places last night. I ordered a steak medium rare. The waiter brought me back a 0.50 cm thick well-cooked sole that made water and barely cooked frozen fries. I made the mistake of not returning the plate. We were a group, several people were sick too. It's embarrassing, some had a sports competition today.

21/03/2024: Home kindness top pizzas. Went back yesterday. Still so cool. It's nice to have a good time. A little bit of Italy in Arcueil.

13/03/2024: For a first visit to this restaurant, I was disappointed with the welcome I received. No hello and no smile from the server. It's a shame. Concerning the cuisine, I had taken a Waffles and Drinks formula. It was really good. For a good snack I still recommend despite the welcome. Perhaps the waiter was not in his mood that day. So I'm going to leave some doubt...

11/03/2024: Excellent address, sincerely. I am a regular consumer of sushi restaurants and this one is my favorite. The makis are rather large but above all generous, it is not just rice to feign a feeling of satiety. The value for money is there, the products are good, in short... On top of all that, the service is excellent: the waiter at the cash register, his sister and the cooks are remarkably friendly.
