25/05/2024: I recently visited La Relais de l’Entrecôte at Rue Saint-Bain in Paris and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. We faced a long wait initially, but we were prepared for that, expecting a great steak based on our past experiences at similar restaurants. However, the steak was mediocre, and the sauce didn’t measure up to our expectations. The real issue came with the dessert. To our dismay, we found mold on one of the raspberries in our dish. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she merely removed the moldy raspberry and replaced it with two new ones, without offering any apology or compensation. Shockingly, the restaurant still charged us for the dish. On top of that, the overall service was awful, leaving us very unhappy with our visit. Given this experience, I cannot recommend La Relais de l’Entrecôte.

24/05/2024: I regret to inform the l'entrecôte lovers that my experience at Le Relais de l'Entrecôte was quite disappointing. Despite being invited to dine there, the evening started on a frustrating note with a wait of over 40 minutes since reservations aren't accepted. Upon finally reaching our destination and being the first in line, we faced and additional 15-minute wait because the tables being vacated were too small for our party of four. The food quality left much to be desired. The highly touted menu did not live up to its prestigious reputation. The "à gogo" concept, where they serve more fries than meat, seemed ridiculous. For the price, one would expect more balanced and generous portion of meat. The experience felt more like a robotic chain: wait, eat, pay, leave, with little regard for customer satisfaction. Overall, for a restaurant with such a renowned name and expensive menu, I expected a far more distinguished treatment of its patrons.

11/05/2024: Excellent, best eel nigiri I have ever had and very professional service. The soba with tempura was perfect. Only thing is, if you come with loud young children I’d recommend sitting outside. We sat in the top floor and it was as quiet as a church with many Japanese people eating silently so we felt super self conscious and rude on behalf of our very loud and boisterous daughter.

22/04/2024: When I want to eat delicious soba, I definitely come here. We recommend making a reservation before visiting.

01/05/2024: The service was very welcoming, however, very disappointed with the dishes that we had apart from the papaya salad, otherwise the rest was not great, the worst was the coconut flan desert which had a stale taste

17/04/2024: The best of the best, delicious food, meat literally melts in your mouth, and staff extremely helpful and friendly! I highly recommend Lu Sun Jiao (chicken and green asparagus dumplings, Chao Bo Cai (Spinach peanut soy sauce), Ye Nai Ga Li (spicy red curry coconut milk with duck), Ya Song (finely chipped duck hoisin sauce and mandarin pancakes), Loc Lac Beef (spicy beef filet Taokan style) and for dessert Xiang Jiao (crispy toffee banana) with coconut ice cream.

13/04/2024: Some of the items were great, while other items were not so much. Had the chance to try a couple dumplings, beef, red curry, fried rice and noodle. I would definitely recommend the chicken dumpling - savoury and melts in your mouth. Also the beef dish, although not as good as it use to be. The other dishes were okay, but nothing to be excited for. Would recommend only if you’ve been looking forward to eat here - other than that, maybe a pass.

06/04/2024: There are different servers for each section, so if the server is busy, you may have to wait a bit. The food came out a little slow, but it was fun to wait and see the surroundings. The beer was really great. It was just one drink, and I don't know if it was because I was tired, but I was tingling. Onion soup was delicious. The clam brilli is so delicious!
