14/05/2024: A warm and inviting place. We felt as if we were back in Italy having dinner with friends. Next time in Paris we will certainly have dinner there

20/03/2024: Best pasta in Paris, it’s a not a gimmicky tourist trap like disgusting big mama but everyone at the table agreed how amazing the food was and friendly service :)

01/04/2024: I was invited to discover the Burgundy snack and so after a reservation online where we take my credit card details (important for the future) I am installed in a small lounge under a glass roof and they bring me a real dessert farandole (3 pieces of cake, a brioche and a lollipop). First observation we get what we paid for (€55) especially since the hot drink of our choice is included but...it is practically impossible to eat everything for a snack. I was expecting very good cakes (which is true) but small portions to taste because we came out with a dolly bag and felt like we were going to explode. The unpleasant surprise comes when leaving: I return to the hostess who asks me if I had any extras and who tells me that hot drinks are included and we set off for a walk again... until 2 hours later I am called back to tell me that I have not paid (the bank details are an imprint in case of no show but impossible to activate it???) and after informing me that it was impossible to send me a payment link and having tried to write down my credit card number on a piece of paper because we don't know how to do it (sic) I am invited to come back the next day to pay the bill. Fortunately the next day I insisted that they send me a payment link otherwise I would do the walk again in the other direction. In summary, an excellent pastry chef, a well-stocked snack and a customer service/experience to be reviewed. Go there to have a slice of cake you will get 15€ for the cake and 9€ for the tea and you will pay by credit card!!!

05/04/2024: Very beautiful, typically Parisian establishment! The location is nice between Madeleine and Place de la Concorde. Everything is homemade, we had a blast! The staff and the boss are very friendly, accommodating and attentive. We can only recommend!

25/05/2024: Absolutely delicious restaurant, which mixes Japanese cuisine with flavors of Taiwan. Quality service of a large hotel. Quiet and pleasant terrace. A wonder. Expensive, but well worth it.

25/05/2024: Excellent quality of products and beautiful presentation of dishes. Too bad some of the staff didn't speak French and seemed a little lost (small mistake on the drinks service), but that didn't spoil the dinner. Absolutely not to be missed.

06/04/2024: Booked for 9 p.m., we were placed upstairs because there were no places downstairs You are allowed to order 5 rounds in total, which should be enough if only you had the time The service is so slow that after 2 rounds the kitchen is already closed On top of that, orders don't arrive complete and you have to ask several times to finally get what you want. I don't recommend if you want to eat a lot and quickly

06/04/2024: We arrived at 9:00 p.m., all the places were occupied downstairs so we went upstairs, super long service, 1 hour service (and again we didn't have all our dishes) and I won't talk about the second round more than an hour 1 dish served out of 6 and of course once the sheet was collected for the 3rd round the kitchens (10:45 p.m.) were going to close, restaurant to avoid if you want to eat properly.

26/04/2024: My wife's foie gras and scallops and my beef bourguignon were exceptional. Having dinners on each side of us could have been uncomfortable but in the end it was like sharing a table in the Grand Dining room on Marina with folks you never met before. The Sancerre wine was very good. I still can't get used to dinner taking 2 hours. It isn't inexpensive with entrees €32, starters €8, and deserts €8. But the food was great.

17/04/2024: Small, intimate restaurant with excellent dishes, original and contemporary, that are not cheap, but deliver the price in flavor. I strongly recommend.

11/03/2024: Gourmet restaurant, rather reserved for fans of the genre. It is one of the “top” gourmet restaurants in Paris. Nothing to complain about, plate, service, decor, everything is perfect. To be honest, as we are not used to this type of establishment, we started joking with the waiters, who kindly played the game with us. At the end of the meal we apologized to our familiars and they said that they appreciated participating when the customers didn't take themselves too seriously, it was a bit of a change from their routine. In short, we had an unforgettable time. As I was a guest, I won't be able to comment on the price, but a restaurant of this level, in Paris, Champs Élisée, requires a very solid bank account. Please note, we took advantage of the last month when Thierry MARX worked as a Chef in the kitchen. It will now be another Chef, let's hope that the quality does not go away.

29/04/2024: Pleasant experience in this Japanese tea room, the staff is warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is very nice with a calm and relaxing background melody, a Japanese-style lacquered wooden table. The pastries are delicate and tasty, I had a good time. The matcha green tea was also very good (I'm used to the bitterness of matcha green tea but the mild and sweet pastries balanced it out well). I recommend for a little break away from Parisian stress ^^

28/04/2024: Excellent Daifuku (mochi) rice cake filled with white bean paste + matcha, almost not sweet, delicate, tender, calming and serene atmosphere. I recommend.

17/05/2024: Please lower the volume on the terrace after 10 p.m. which often turns into an impromptu evening with loud voices from drunk customers. I will remove the communication if there is better respect for the neighborhood.

07/05/2024: Tucked away in my Parisian neighborhood is my little secret spot: Au Bistro. It's not just any restaurant; it's where the locals gather for their daily dose of joie de vivre. Chef Petit Chat and his lovely wife Sandrine are the heart and soul of this place, ensuring that every dish is a true taste of French tradition. So, if you're up for an authentic Parisian experience and a chance to rub elbows with the locals, swing by Au Bistro. And who knows? You might just spot me there, soaking up the charm and savoring every moment in this little slice of Parisian paradise. Cheers to good times and even better company!

24/05/2024: Burger excellent, nothing to complain about but the new fries or potatoes are not good at all It was better before, see it again, it's a shame 😌

23/05/2024: Loved it here! We walked up without a reservation on a weekday, the crowd seemed to be mostly people on their lunch break, the house was pretty full. Server was nice and offered a short wait for a table, we decided to sit at the bar instead. It was a good choice, the bartenders and wait staff were attentive and also made jokes with us. Food was very good, especially the crème brûlée. We had oysters, a chicken Caesar salad and duck confit. Oysters, and chicken Caesar salad were excellent, I don’t have enough experience with duck confit to give it a comparative review, but I liked it. One of my favorite stops on our multi day trip to Paris, I would go out of my way to come back here on my next trip.

05/05/2024: Honestly everything was great! The Sunday brunch buffet is every penny worth. I loved it! The homemade mayonnaise was a dream, and I loved the choices of honey! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I would really have needed the name and the allergens of the individual items on a small piece of paper! I would have loved to try more of the delicious food but I was a bit scared about my allergies. Other than that, I would 100% recommend!

07/05/2024: We chose this restaurant by chance, but it was a pleasant discovery, excellent wine and quality French cuisine. Kitchen and cooks on sight. We highly recommend it, a true Parisian restaurant.

28/04/2024: Desserts were so good. We got the chocolate mousse and Creme brûlée. Ask for your steak bien cuit if you’re American ;)
