05/04/2024: It was the first time yesterday, with two friends. A warm welcome, a neat setting and very good couscous, spiced just right, the grain was very fine. For dessert, the delicious baklava (downside for the yogurt ice cream, but hey, it's a question of taste). And my friends loved the mint tea. I would happily do it again!

27/04/2024: We have eaten here twice now the first time last year in summer on the terrace where we received the main courses before the starters and the last time three days ago very very expensive compared to the quality. The service in the restaurant was not very good, not very friendly.

27/04/2024: We are leaving it so to speak... Almost 5 stars in the reviews, "La Goulue" a brand that smells of Cancan, the Moulin Rouge and French tradition... An Art Deco wooden facade with very 1920s floral motifs like the interior setting elsewhere... Until then, the atmosphere was rather pleasant and reassuring. On the other hand? Do we go to a restaurant, mainly for the contents of the plate? We totally agree ? Covered for 3 people, 167 euros without starter: 3 dishes, 4 glasses of wine (including aperitifs), 1 coke, half a bottle of sparkling water, and 2 desserts. The price is just evocative, as it has little importance when the service is up to par... Unfortunately, that was honestly not the case! The fish (Saint Pierre) that I was served was just tasteless: the morel sauce, despite the obvious presence of 3 or 4 morels, lacked taste and creaminess, liquid as desired, it seemed stretched... The waitress, who was also very friendly, alone at the service, arrived with 3 appetizers at the end of the aperitif, a little late. Some tables which adjoined ours were served twice in bread even though we were completely forgotten, the glass of wine at 9 euros would perhaps suffer from a presentation of the bottle during service? In short: First and last try, untransformed. For the two members of my family present, as for me, we had better meals in certain Messin brasseries for a lower price and a much fairer quality/price ratio! The only positive note, apart from the atmosphere: The frozen nougat for dessert was just delicious. Morality: Overvalued rating, there are better and cheaper places in Metz. Tourist trap?!

06/04/2024: The food was okay. The coffee grinder was very loud in the room. There was no alcohol on the menu.

17/03/2024: You can afford to be more than familiar when the service is impeccable. Except that we will remember your antipathy more than what we ate.
