Le jardin du Kashmir
Batignolles, Paris
05/04/2024: The boss is a real talent, he is attentive and passionate. Even with a small budget, I am always well received. I go there on days when I want a comforting meal, the boss adapts the spice level to your palate.
31/03/2024: The owner is an esthete whose fine and original cuisine has delighted all our senses. Coming as a family, we will return and strongly encourage fans of Indian cuisine to enter these gardens of Kashmir.

Le Maharaja
Batignolles, Paris
03/04/2024: Very good, authentic cuisine. There are also delicious dishes for vegetarians - which is by no means a given in Paris! Great price/performance ratio. Super nice service! Reservation possible via Google / Fork.
03/04/2024: A small, very cozy restaurant that has been a family business here for more than two decades. As soon as you enter the restaurant you will be enchanted by the atmosphere, the beautiful furnishings and decoration! And we really had a fantastic meal! Delicious vegetarian dishes, super delicious Nan bread (we had Nan with cheese), and we had a matching Chablis. The service is very courteous and friendly! A little vacation within a vacation :) When we are back in Paris, we will definitely visit the Maharaja again!

Royal Indien
Batignolles, Paris
23/05/2024: Tasteless dishes. Small portions and poor quality. Rice is dry and reheated. Chicken was bad and I felt sick after eating it. Undoubtedly the meat was not fresh. We will never come back here. there are other good Indian restaurants, don't come here.
21/05/2024: Top-notch welcome and services, very reasonable price, the only downside is that my cheese was missing in part of the cooking, the grills are good except for the piece of meat (beef) otherwise the rest is impeccable.

Delice De L'Inde
Batignolles, Paris
29/03/2024: Onion bhajia came as onion rings, but it was tasty.
Coffee came as espresso shot. Oh well. Do specify if you need coffee with milk.
Tandoori chicken looked appetizing and came in sizzling plate.
Waiter (cum cashier) spoke French, no big deal to me. But he spoke Hindi very unhappily as if ashamed to speak. That sould earn you zero star.
If you run an authentic Indian restaurant and hire a staff who is able to speak authentic Hindi language, do take pride. While desperate to attract non-indian diners, do not bend down below dignity. I felt unimpressed and disgusted.
Finally, the receipt. Is this an ok version of receipt in Paris? If you boast to be a fine restaurant, and bill that way too, then you should print proper receipt. And itemize the bill.
If you have another option, skip this one.
But if you are craving for Indian food in Pont Cardinet, well, just give it a try.
If the waiter was better, I would have rated this as 4 star. Hire somebody dignified and well mannered.
23/03/2024: Food was great, specially the spinach mutton curry.
