06/05/2024: The ultimate friendly place. Large choice of types of dishes and prices in a menu contained on a double slate. The pizzas are incredible value for money (especially figatelli and queen). Lumberjack's plate a challenge (personal challenge;)!
Desserts slightly below but HOMEMADE.
Very good local charcuterie at different prices and sound advice.
A few minutes from the Cascade des Anglais, not to be missed!

12/12/2023: A good place to use as a base to explore the national park. We recently (December 2023) came back to enjoy the special events; every Saturday night (even in winter) they have live music which was excellent; On the Friday evening they had the owner giving a live speech on Corsican history and wine (in French) with glasses of wine to taste as he took us on a virtual tour of the Corsican wine-making areas. If you understand French and love wine and history it's a "must do".

10/05/2024: Frankly, we looked everywhere, but we didn't find the charm mentioned in some comments. The beautiful white tablecloths and silver cutlery do not compensate for the mediocrity on the plate. The master-restaurateur label takes a big hit! Downright anachronistic as the cuisine is without flavor, without creativity, without generosity. As for the hotel, you have the impression of entering a dilapidated family home with the smells of tobacco, dog, fried food and mold in the corridor of the rooms, the tapestry that is peeling and the sofas that are old 50 years in the living room. Except that when you leave after two nights and half board (just a pasta dish among the cheapest on the menu and a glass of wine in the evening) you are charged €400 for two people (20 euros for breakfast with Rancid muesli, it hurts!). Nothing brings joy in this place, except the beautiful forest that surrounds it.

09/08/2023: Absolutely avoid.
The boss makes his two daughters under 15 work as waitresses.
It's cute and friendly until he thinks we're putting "pressure" on them because they're out of salad.
And he comes to the table like a little scum “do you have a problem? ".
Very unrecommendable.
