11/05/2024: Le Grillon at Hourtin Plage: an unforgettable experience! A real gem discovered during our vacation at Hourtin Plage! Le Grillon is much more than just a restaurant, it is an unforgettable culinary experience. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a smiling and attentive team. The dishes, prepared with fresh, homemade products, were simply delicious. Each bite was a taste journey, revealing all the passion and know-how of the chef. We particularly appreciated the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the place, which allowed us to fully savor every moment. And we came back...several times, to discover the beautiful menu (favorite for the oysters, the roasted camembert, the prawns with garlic cream, the duck breast, the cheeseburger, the line-caught tuna steak ,...and special mention for the strawberry mille-feuille, just perfect!!). A big thank you to Ophélie, and to her entire Grillon team, for this exceptional experience! We highly recommend this establishment to all lovers of good cuisine and convivial moments.

12/02/2024: We like to form our own opinion and despite the last ones read here, we let ourselves be tempted. We did well! Pizzas of good quality, generous and affordable. The dough is not "rubbery" as I have read, on the contrary, it is perfectly successful. Calling at 7:50 p.m. on a Sunday, the pizza was ready in 15 minutes. The person at reception was smiling and friendly. It should still be noted that restaurants are rare in Hourtin, and what's more, they offer openings that evening. In my opinion, this is to be welcomed. It seems important to me to also know when it is “good”. First visit, the loyalty card will definitely come in handy!

07/09/2023: We arrived at 1:55 p.m. and they didn't want to serve us, even takeaway, when you don't want to work it's better to change jobs!!

28/08/2023: Mixed opinion. We were not convinced by our takeaway pizzas. It's in full swing in the summer and we see the team working behind the oven. But trying to do too much, the cooking was limited and we didn't enjoy it. If we go back that way I'll try my luck again but earlier in the evening to see if it's better.

11/05/2024: Bel emplacement devant le port, accueil plutôt sympa. Pizza correct pour un prix tout aussi correct. Très bon café. ! ....Mais, oui il y a un mais, le coca est arrivé bouteille (de 25 cl) ouverte... Sans saveur et sans bulle ou presque. Ça sent quand même l'entourloupe.. ..pour 4€20.... !!! Rien que pour ça je n'y retournerai pas.

03/05/2024: Hors saison en famille : personnel aimable mais nourriture basique par contre l'addition tient bien compte de l'emplacement agréable avec vu sur le port.

20/04/2024: Fast service But everything is cooked in the fryer, meats/tenders/steaks, then they charge you €2 more per taco for the sauces (even if ketchup/mayo) to end up also getting the change wrong (if I'm not was not noticed when arriving at the car she would have kept 10€) I don't recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed with the delights of Sao à lesparre!!!
