06/04/2024: Very nice hotel - luxury and discretion

05/04/2024: Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opéra is a very nice hotel. The room was sheek, and well laid out. The beds were very comfortable. The bath was spacious and functional. The location is perfect with many local attractions, shoping, and restaurants within walking distance. The Hotel has an attached restaurant and bar which serves excellent French cuisine and, with a little couching, was able to create a fine dirty martini. I highly recommend this hotel!

05/04/2024: tested this lunchtime with 2 friends: a small, cozy restaurant, quality French cuisine, original and tasty: burger with pulled beef and homemade mayonnaise, small potatoes and green salad, delicious! unstructured lemon tart 😋 nb: and “held” prices for Paris!!! 👍🏻 thank you Arlette for your welcome and your kindness. we will come back, Marlise Myriam and Véro

16/04/2024: Discreet address but fantastic cuisine! In a charming and warm atmosphere, chef Lucie and her husband Luca delight us It’s delicate, fair and delicious Inventive and intuitive cuisine! Very comprehensive wine list!

08/04/2024: 100% must go. We had a birthday celebration dinner and everything was top notch. Amazing French restaurant with perfect service. Portions are good size , every dish keeps impressing you. Highly recommend to get wine pairing, not expensive and high quality wines served with passion. Our best experience so far , even after Michelin star restaurants.

30/04/2024: I had a starter + main course menu with a coffee: the quantity and quality was very good, I didn't expect more. The server is welcoming and smiling. The setting is cozy (and rather quiet despite it being a tourist area). I can only recommend it :)

18/05/2024: Worst meal we've had in Paris. Everything was over cooked and salty. Luckily we only had appetizers. I had read to expect the oysters in France to be saltier than what american's are used to, but these came with the shell half full of salt water. Even after pouring out the salt water and giving them a good squirt of lemon juice they tasted of salt. The cockles were tiny, salty, and full of sand. The mussels were tiny over cooked and salty, and the crab claws were overcooked and salty. That wonderful flavor of crab absent from this dish. We have had some great food in Paris, but sorry this is not that. We literally could not finish any of the dishes. Now I know why they give you bread and butter with the oysters, to get rid of the taste of salt in your mouth.

01/04/2024: Came as a family to celebrate the departure on Erasmus of one of our sons. Being Breton, we expected to find some regional specialties and this was not the case. No cider either. The boss left us with a really unpleasant memory by being unable to offer suitable vegetarian options and by openly criticizing the guests.

22/05/2024: Exceptional place in the heart of Paris! Rascal and confidential, the owner welcomed us like princes with my friends and my cousins. We will come back with pleasure! (I recommend the andouillette)

06/05/2024: The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable considering the location. As well they were very accommodating when we turned up late due to getting lost. And even let us add an extra person. Highly recommend!!

04/05/2024: The pepper steak was excellent! The fries are homemade and very tasty. The tuna steak was also delicious! We wanted a suitable red wine and that would be served to us. Excellent service and the staff really tries hard. All in all not very cheap, but still ok for Paris standards. Definitely go and try it for yourself.

31/03/2024: !!Hidden gem for Lunch!! I came across this place during a business trip to Paris and thank god we found this place. Ran by 2 most fabulous hosts. They have a different menu each day comprising of 2 salad options, ranging from seafood, cheese or veggie delicacies. Then you have 2 options for mains mostly fish or meat which absolutely stunning paired with best carbs combination and super fresh, and then the best part ooh la la the dessert, they have atleast 6+ plus options and all fresh and home made (only panna cotta had gelatine) most of them halal and vegetarian friendly. All of the above stated delicious combinations for €22.50. And it doesn’t end there, they also have 20+ offering at their salad bar majority of them vegetarian and halal. You can stuff your takeaway box with any or all them. The couscous, chicken sandwich and chicken curry with pistachio rice was superb. This place is an absolute must if you are in Saint Lazare area.
