22/09/2023: I can imagine you can eat really well there and that was our idea, but when we were served so unfriendly... our appetite disappeared after 5 minutes and we decided to leave the beautiful restaurant. It's a shame... two stars for the water for our dog.
05/09/2023: Located in the alley that runs along the sea, the U Fragnu restaurant will seem confidential to you: you have to go down a few steps and finally discover the beautiful room of an old oil mill.
The terrace - I recommend - is on the sea with a view of the port of Erbalunga and its Genoese tower.
Come to U Fragnu for fresh fish from the day's catch, fresh cuttlefish and lobsters from Cap Corse. Here you choose your fish from those presented for sale.
It is imperative to reserve your table to be sure to dine

25/05/2024: You believe to have found one of the top five restaurant in Corsica … one Michelin Star in 2018, seems like kind of borrowed feathers … but let’s give it a try!
We went for the 4 course surprise menu with the accompanied wines and were looking forward to a nice experience.
4 dishes incl. small starters on the house were served in appr. 1 hour … every dish presented very nice, but unfortunatelly missing the finishing touch!
We did not find the least respect to the french cuisine, the content not well treated and the final result not at all satisfactory … upon request to the disharmony with our opinion, the chef/owner took up a very unpleasant discusion with a complete lack of understanding “if you don’t like our way of cooking, you might better choose somewere else to dine next time and basicly we will not accept your way of putting our cooking skills into question!”
However I dare very well to put a BIG “?” to as well skills and bad behaviour and hope that my 2 Stars (no Michelin’s) will lead to a desperately needed improvement … we wish Le Pirate and their crew all the best for the future!
19/05/2024: Restaurant met mooie inrichting aan het haventje van Erbalunga.
Vriendelijke ontvangst. Keuze uit meerdere menu’s waaronder een verrassingsmenu van 4 of 6 gangen.
Wij gingen voor het 4 gangenmenu.
Wijnkaart is uitstekend en biedt veel keuze.
Hier wordt uitstekend gekookt ; een van onze beste ervaringen op Corsica subtiel , delicaat en inventief.
Dus zeer aanbevolen.
Alleen een beetje jammer dat het 4 gangen menu bestond uit éen amuse en 3 gangen.
Noem het dan een 3 gangenmenu. Ook prima.
De uitleg was dat het menu bestond uit “4 etapes” ….
