08/05/2024: A very authentic restaurant, with a very varied menu, and prices which remain reasonable (5-9€) per tapas and two tapas are more than enough with a dessert which is very substantial 😎 The service is great 👍🏼

02/05/2024: A delight, go for it! Best address tested during our stays in the south. Frank and so comforting tastes. Each bite is a delight for the taste buds and awakens a guilty pleasure.

31/03/2024: With all due respect...the staff were polite and I appreciated their kindness. However, the food was extremely underwhelming. I was worried it was perhaps premade meals at some points. I ordered the dish made of beef cheek, red wine sauce, and seasonal vegetables "PARMENTIER DE JOUE DE BOEUF CONFITE".... My meal turned out to be 4 large chunks of beef with uncooked fat (not candied at all), bland mashed potatoes , and the "seasonal vegetables" was simply a single quarter of a carrot, no wine sauce was included and absolutely none of it was seasoned, not even salt and pepper. We ended up leaving without taking deserts because it was just not worth it. I ended up not eating most of the meal because it tasted like nothing. On a side note, there was a small safety concern with the fireplace. When walking into the restaurant you are hit with the smell of smoke. As the evening progressed, we heard and saw many customers coughing and complaining of the smoke. A few couples joined us taking breaks outside to breathe away from the smoke. When coming back inside, the smoke was visible throughout the entire restaurant, it caused us to become very lightheaded. We even saw one woman leave to get a mask to wear during her evening! I have enjoyed many great restaurants in the region but this was unfortunately not one of them. :(

18/03/2024: This charming little restaurant offers very friendly service. Although the menu is limited, each dish is prepared with care and attention. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cuisine, particularly the Thai salad and flank steak. The view of the main square is magnificent, but access is only on foot. We spent around €100 for two people

03/04/2024: We came here for lunch and ordered the beef burger and chicken breast with white sauce - both were very good. Service was friendly and price reasonable. Ended with a chocolate lava cake with ice cream.

02/04/2024: Lunch while visiting Nîmes, we had the dish of the day, poultry ballottines, we enjoyed ourselves. Very nice waiter, we had a good time.

17/02/2024: I recommend, A pleasant surprise... Very good dishes and desserts. A welcome like I have rarely seen in restaurants, the owner and his team are incredibly kind and take great care of his customers, and in particular with our 8 year old boy. Thank you again for all.

07/05/2024: Eccentric and design hotel. My room was so big it practically felt like a studio apartment. Structure with soundproofing problems but it is still worth it, given the excellent location and the particularity of the interior furnishings. The staff on duty during the 24 hours of my stay did not shine for kindness, but the structure deserves it regardless.

06/05/2024: Very attentive service! Excellent location in the heart of the city. On the other hand, not a big fan of the room's decor, and a small bottle of water or a kettle would not have been amiss :-)

20/02/2024: What a meal ! Four of us ate there, at the counter, with a direct view of the kitchen and all four of us were captivated by all the talent displayed in the kitchen of La Pie qui Couette. Of course, with talent rhymes quality products. It’s an incredible opportunity to have such a restaurant in Les Halles de Nîmes.

19/02/2024: My parents live in Nîmes and regularly eat there, so they took me and I was not disappointed!! Small restaurant in the middle of the halls, we are seated high up facing the teams and especially facing the kitchen where we can see what they are preparing! The dishes are excellent and worth their price. Small downside for the seasonal dessert which was clementine, it was served to us frozen in the middle 😅😅 but otherwise nothing to complain about either in terms of service or cuisine!
