15/05/2024: The restaurant has a medieval theme and they went all out on this theme, the menus are in the form of rolls and envelopes and the food is great, special mention to their mead! I can only recommend this restaurant

02/04/2024: During our week-long stay in Sarlat, we opted (as during our previous stay) for the breakfast formula, what a treat! Beautiful pastries, squeezed orange juice, yogurt and hot drinks served by Sébastien who was always very pleasant offering us tours etc. Thanks to him and to Laura who manages the establishment with a masterful hand. Very beautiful cakes and chocolates complete the offer.

31/01/2024: A childhood memory... the raspberry bushes that we discovered as a family during a picnic on the way to Rocamadour and Padirac... A Proust madeleine that we bought there following each of our visits to Sarlat... The pastry shop has probably changed ownership since then. We did not find the same cake: neither the cream (more compact) nor the top (caramelized differently), however, the cake was very good 😋 and we enjoyed it. My brother was happy for his 52nd birthday 🎉

10/05/2024: Disappointed… We arrived and the aperitif menus were not given to us. The suggestion found at the entrance to the restaurant was no longer available at 7:30 p.m., the dishes were brought to us lukewarm, or cold for some. The servers' communication was lacking, and their conflicts took place in front of the customers. The boss was very harsh with his employees… Small attention to the young waiter who was just starting out, with a little blue polo shirt, who was very kind and very attentive to his customers. Expensive for what we were served…

03/04/2024: Excellent bowling alley at affordable prices. There is also a range of other games (billiards, table football, ...). Finally, there is also a bar where you can buy food and drinks, and not unimportant: there are several free toilets. All in all, I am satisfied with Bowling L'osmoz and would therefore give it 4.5/5 stars

21/05/2024: Very disappointed, the restaurant doesn't look like much but sometimes that doesn't mean anything. But the! The owner does all the cooking, the service immerses her, so she presents the menu to us, takes the order without writing it down, asks us 3 times what we are having. She brings us a so-called soup that looks like anything but soup and is too salty, calling us a gift from home. She comes back to ask us again what we are having, there she writes down our order. She brings us our starter, a gizzard salad. The salad is pocket salad, the gizzard is non-existent and the grated carrots are large, for the main course the meat is bathed in oil as are the potatoes, and my panacota is not even cold which means that it was not refrigerated. In the restaurant, electric wires with dominoes hang everywhere. The security is not there at all. How can we allow an establishment like this to receive the public.

21/05/2024: Simple, effective and inexpensive. All the comments say that you will find the restaurants of other times without any hassle, everything is served on the table like in a local's home. There were 9 of us and we had a great time. I recommend the atypical detour.

08/05/2024: Dans la vielle ville, belle adresse un peu à part, menu à 24€, nous étions en famille, 2 adultes et 1 enfant : oeuf sauce aux cèpes, tartare de truite/anchaud sauce gribiche, confit de canard et anchaud au menu enfant /tarte aux noix, nougat glacé. Service avec le sourire !!

21/05/2024: Excellent experience, charming setting right in the center but yet away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Impeccable service, attentive, smiling and friendly. Impeccable, local and tasty meal, an ideal address to end a visit to Périgord. The only slight downside (certainly independent of the establishment) is the passage accessible to walkers along the tables on the terraces.

21/05/2024: Average restaurant, you don't have to be a big eater because the quantities are very fair. There is no server assigned to the table, it is the one who passes by, therefore errors. And above all, what extremely shocked me was to see one of the waitresses coughing several times on the desserts while preparing them without putting her hand over her mouth. Not cool in terms of hygiene. We won't go back there.

20/05/2024: La Petite Borie is located in a pretty building in the heart of Sarlat. The dishes are prepared with quality local products. The staff is pleasant. A selection of wines from harvesting owners to taste the specialties of the region. Good value for money at €26 for local cuisine.

31/03/2024: We spent a delicious time on the terrace in the sun, facing the magnificent Sacerdos Cathedral. The dishes were excellent, with perfect cooking for the half breast and perfectly tender duck confit. The sauces that accompanied them were also tasty, thoroughly satisfying us. Although the potatoes were slightly sweet, this did not alter their delicious taste. Personally, I'm not a fan of sweet and sour food, but these local specialties were irresistible. 08/10/2023: Malgré un cadre très agréable, une chambre agréable également et une restauration tout à fait convenable, nous avons été très déçus par l'acceuil. Nous avions réservé directement sur le site de l'hôtel pour une nuit avec demi pension; et lorsque nous sommes arrivés, vers 20h20, nous n'étions pas inscrits (on ne nous retrouvait pas informatiquement). Il y avait néanmoins une chambre disponible où nous avons pu poser nos affaires et attendre tranquillement qu'une table se libère puisque le restaurant était complet. On a vraiment eu le sentiment qu'on dérangeait mais tout ca a été exprimé avec le sourire!! Le lendemain matin, au moment de régler, nous n'étions toujours pas enregistrés, nous avons donc donné le tarif de notre réservation et, nouvelle surprise, cet établissement censé accepter les chèques vacances ANCV, ne les accepte que sous le format papier et non en format dématérialisé; fallait-il le savoir. Toutes ces petites choses nous laisse un goût amer, dommage

09/05/2024: We go there every summer to have ice cream for the children. On this long weekend, we are stopping there with this beautiful sun. Small disappointment, not a lot of choice around 4:30 p.m., most of the flavors were robbed! Count €3 for a ball, €5 for both.

04/05/2024: Delicious ice cream! We chose the flavors bueno, sorbet mango, sorbet strawberry, vanilla, pistachio and straciatella. We each had two balls and this was put in a large wide cone so the balls did not just fall off the cone. One of us got a slush puppy and small was more than enough for her. It's not cheap but it was all very tasty, neatly sized buns and pleasant service. Then I don't mind paying a little more.
