The recipes shared were not only delicious but also easy to follow. Our hosts were incredibly hospitable, making us feel right at home. 11/05/2024: Samedi 11 mai 2024, 20h30 Arrivés à l'heure, une jeune femme nous (2 personnes) a refoulés sous prétexte que la réservation était en attente alors que la réservation était bien confirmée par The Fork.  Elle ne nous a même pas demandé notre nom pour vérifier.  Ce n'est ni poli, ni professionnel de sa part, ni digne de son établissement "gastronomique". Comment peut-on attendre l'arrivée des clients pour les refuser sur le pas de la porte ? C'est aussi irrespectueux qu'un client qui a réservé mais ne vient pas.  Moralité, rien ne vaut la réservation par téléphone...  Heureusement un autre restaurant nous a accepté sur la base d'un coup de fil à 20h45 un samedi soir, nous avons été très bien reçus et nous nous sommes régalés !

11/05/2024: While passing through Tours, we arrived a bit by chance... and were enchanted. Very friendly welcome by the owner and waiters, reasonable prices (especially the homemade desserts yum), varied menu and delicious dishes. Address to share!

11/05/2024: Deplorable welcome, unfriendly staff, cuisine leaving something to be desired. The most notable being the dishonesty and bad faith of the manager. For the little story : We (3 people) were received coldly and then seated on a small table for 2 people (a table which could actually have been sufficient given the small portions served afterwards). The manager claims that he cannot seat us a table of 4 people because there would be reservations on all these tables. However, we were taken aback to see that several groups of 4 people were placed on said tables, even though they had obviously not reserved (we could hear them asking the waiter if there was room for lunch for 4). By presenting the person in charge with the facts, the latter denies everything outright while we were witnesses to this scene, as were the new customers. As for the cuisine, it is basic, bland, not very elaborate, and we cannot say that the portions are generous. Finally, if dishonesty is present from the outset, we also feel it in so-called “homemade” desserts when they seem to come straight from an industrial chain. Mr. should possibly consider retraining as a businessman, being probably more interested in the maximum profit of his business than in the well-being of his clients; its activity would then undoubtedly be more sustainable. In conclusion: prefer neighboring restaurants, of which there is no shortage in the area, and whose opinions are perhaps more legitimate.

02/04/2024: A very nice discovery! I'm always wary of this type of cuisine, thinking I won't have much on my plate. Nay! This was not the case here. Not only is it plentiful, but the products offered are very well made. It’s original, good and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it for a good culinary experience.

02/05/2024: Bad coffee, inedible cookies...

16/04/2024: Pretty good coffee with a nice latte art, nothing to complain about, chai latte good but half of the cup was milk foam so disappointing. The big downside was the cakes, an ultra dry chocolate cake (suitable portion) and a very dry cookie which crumbles a lot, I don't understand how you can serve this kind of pastry, the first Marmiton recipe will be much better than the one this . And when we come to point out that the cookies have a recipe problem, the person can't think of anything better to say than they have no response to give us by giving us more cookies (nice gesture on their part but useless since they are not good). To respond to your comment here are two links that will help you greatly. Absolutely nothing exceptional in these 2 recipes but quite simply much more correct than what can come out of your kitchen (sorry to be dry but when I see that someone takes the trouble to make good coffee I find it a shame ruined everything with the rest) Chocolate Cakes from Once Upon a Time Pastry on YouTube gallyminipatisse/unratable-chocolate-cookies Baker's word, your store will be all the better for it!

08/03/2024: So there you have it, rating the kitchen for trays and chips, it's one of the "subtleties" of Google but hey, I gave 5 stars because our aperitif tray without being what we call cuisine was great well composed. Very, very good products without any reservations! This is where we can say that without being "cooked", the fact of selecting quality products deserves to be emphasized. 👍😋 So there you have it, it was our son who brought us there because he has his habits and since the time he told us about it we didn't have to ask to accompany him... 😇 Beer lovers, give in and push the door open without any reservations. If you don't know which beverage to choose from among all the varieties of beers, tell the host what you expect, what you like and he will guide you towards what you will enjoy drinking. 👍 This place is really great, thank you for doing your job this way: a great time spent at your place... 😉 And in passing, I add something important: when I asked if it was possible to snack on something, I was told "yes, chips or aperitif tray". I didn't go any further but after checking it turns out that it is possible to have dinner. So my apologies for being a little approximate and we will come back for an excellent beer and dinner. I hope you'll forgive me for thinking there wasn't a real kitchen in your house. 😉

05/04/2024: Service so fast that the dishes arrived before the aperitif. We asked for fries again, we waited, waited... so we had finished our plates and there were one fries then 2 then another waiter with a third 😑 (I told him we already had 2 so it's good! ) He still put it on the table for us. Waste.

02/04/2024: Marine served us and it was great. Fast, smiling and super attentive in offering us a takeaway box!

14/02/2024: Small, cozy restaurant and not noisy, which is pleasant. The dishes offered on the menu are very appetizing. Unfortunately once the plate is served, it is very nicely presented, but in terms of taste and flavor... there is a problem. Much too expensive for my taste. Prices worthy of a bistro, but clearly, the dishes are well below all that. So review your prices, clearly! But! very friendly and attentive staff.

27/12/2023: Very nice experience in this establishment located in the quiet of a small pedestrian street in Old Tours. Good products and a warm welcome from the boss who does not hesitate to share his knowledge. The trilogies of wines offered are perfect. Little more access to a pretty cellar where you can choose your bottle! The menu is affordable in terms of price, we had a good time. Thanks again .
