Very pleasant restaurant, excellent dishes and friendly team. We really enjoyed our dinner

The Yako restaurant in Bordeaux offers a pleasant atmosphere and a friendly setting. The dishes are OK, but sometimes lack flavor and originality. Service can be slow, especially during peak hours, which can be frustrating. Overall an okay experience, but there are definitely areas for improvement to provide a better dining experience.

Pleasant decor although a little dark and very decent service (the waitress does everything she can). On the other hand, quite disappointed with the kitchen. I find it expensive for the portion size. I took a Yakitori menu (5 small skewers) served with broth (delicious), rice and coleslaw (not Asian at all but with a simple vinaigrette, too bad I usually love these little salads in Japanese restaurants or Korean). I had a broken plate, I don't really like chipped dishes. I'm not sure I'll come back.

To begin with, the staff are very helpful and friendly, especially the waitress who served us and the man at reception. During the entire meal we lacked nothing 🤗. We had a Korean fondue and it was really succulent, the broth was tasty and the meat tender. In short, if you want to eat in a good Japanese restaurant with a warm atmosphere and great servers, I recommend this one without hesitation 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I had a good evening, with welcoming staff and a calm atmosphere. the service was careful and the equipment clean (hob). but the Korean barbecue was not satisfactory: the meat plate was composed of very thin slices of beef (carpaccio type) marinated (good marinade with sweet soy sauce). therefore, it remains far from the idea we have of a barbecue with more substantial and varied slices. the accompanying vegetables (zucchini, mushroom, pepper, eggplant) were ok even if I would have liked typical Korean or Japanese side dishes not necessarily grilled (eg. kimchi, turnip pickles, etc.), as well as several sauces for vary the tastes of vegetables and meat. soup and coleslaw were ok

Super good fondue in an immersive setting. Smiling and very friendly service! We had the fish fondue, it was excellent and inexpensive.

3.5⭐️ Japanese-Korean restaurant with concept. Korean BBQ is quite disappointing. The portions are really VERY light, everything is cut extremely thin, so that it fills the plate, but doesn't fill the belly. However, marinated meat is very good, but for big eaters it could be complicated. The skewers also have the same fault The fondue on the other hand is quite generous! The broth in which to cook your vegetables is really very good, and don't hesitate to collect your neighbor's rice to put it in the pot at the end of the meal! A delicious finish ✨ As for drinks, nothing to say, apart from the fact that there was no more sake (the cheapest one) For desserts, it’s quite delicious. Trying the rice pudding is highly recommended! A restaurant with a very nice concept, but which clearly lacks quantity for the Barbecue side.
