Best meal in France this time (tie with our favourite Vietnamese) - smallest pieces of sashimi I’ve seen but most delicious made up for that - yakitori chicken, quail and pork improved with the provided sweet soy sauce and red chili type sprinkle and lovely waitress from Tottori made my day.

Japanese restaurant to recommend....The sushi, sashimi and makis are exceptional. The skewers and tempuras are very good too.

I had great night here. I love sake, the soup, the sushi, and grilled usura. However, for not speaking French and Japanese, it brought me a little bit inconvenience. I’m not complaining but describing, please don’t get me wrong. The soup would be my highlight for shiitake mushroom, comparing the other sushi restaurant nearby. The taste and the aromatic of the soup is irresistible. Talking about the sushi plate, scallop and the prawn are the most amazing ones. Enjoying every piece with ginger slice in between refreshing and making each of them distinctive. This is a set with rice wine, soup, and sushi with unforgettable experience. Highly recommended, and no one wants to miss it.

We tried 1 sushi menu, 1 omelette sushi, 1 anguille sushi and 1 maquereau sushi, they are all very tasty, especially the anguille one, the sauce is amazing, it’s freshly done, soft and melting. We also tried the fried tofu as starter, the sauce is so good with ginger and radish. I tried boulette and chicken brochette, I recommend the boulette, it’s clearly made in house by hand, the quality is amazing. They have 4 waiters, efficient. We wait around 30 minutes for our food, we arrived at their peak time at Saturday. I will totally come back again.

01/05/2024: We came in quite late on a rainy holiday and the staff was still willing to serve us. We took two rolls to go (shrimp tempura and salmon/tuna) and they were both delicious. Kind people and high quality sushi. Thank you!
12/04/2024: Customer of this restaurant often for takeaway, the welcome is always very friendly and the dishes excellent! A menu with enough choice to please all tastes. Often a small fruit, or a little extra in the order to mark the occasion. I really appreciate this address. I systematically come back to it during my visits to Paris. Thanks Niigata.

27/03/2024: The best Japanese in Paris. Diversity of fish freshness. Real Japanese cuisine (he makes sushi, sashimi, maki and other raw fish specialties. Warm welcome. Be careful, he is known in the neighborhood. Reservations are required. I go there as often as possible. Update: I'm worried... I heard a pompous person waxing the pumps of a coating suggesting that things had changed quite a bit and I didn't see the usual owner... Obviously, a cook would have gone... And it's true that I was surprised by 2.3 things that were less good than usual: the ankimo sauce, the miso soup, the coleslaw??!? (we were accustomed to a delicious little seaweed salad combo which made the difference) but more importantly, on the royal sashimi a less careful cutting, less highlighted flavors and a less ambitious assortment of fish... No, honestly, I'm worried... To be monitored over time but if the doubts are confirmed, it really sucks... You'd have to go see gourmet sushi if it's not just the market antenna... In short, some work in perspective... Or disappointments :(
