Simply great. A basement bar. The house dates back to the 16th century. You speak german too. The owner is definitely a Harry Potter fan. It's a small steaming cauldron. Reservation is an advantage

Very warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, original and refined service, and well-stocked dishes in addition to being succulent (Reblochon bacon Spaetzels with adaptation according to intolerance). A repeat without hesitation

I've eaten here four times now and it makes me want to go back. There is a good limit to everything: the interior is decorated in a traditional style but not overloaded, the service is very welcoming and friendly but not imposing, the menu has a good choice but not too much. Every time I ate at this restaurant, I felt like the owners knew me well. They chat with customers but keep a good interpersonal distance. They can also guide you in choosing a good wine for your meal. And the food is very good. The menu remains the same but even if you order the same dish, every time you eat here it will have a different nuance of taste and every time it will taste good. It's definitely worth trying to eat here!

To have a great time relaxing!! This is the ideal place!!! Suggestions for suggested dishes that are too interesting. A map that takes you on a journey. To discover...I highly recommend it....don't forget to book before going!!!!!!

Strolled through Saverne hungry on a Wednesday evening and discovered this great restaurant when we were almost ready to give up. Great ambience, friendly welcome and nice service. The food was a delight! We would come again! 100% recommendation, even for tourists.

03/04/2024: First lunch in this restaurant. Top value for money, fine and quality cuisine, impeccable and fast service I highly recommend
03/04/2024: I have come to eat at La Garenne several times, where I always enjoy the taste. However, I really have to point out that the service is more than annoying for several reasons: - we are served by several different servers which leads to a lot of confusion, errors on the invoice (1 bottle of wine extra once...) etc, - advice that is sometimes off the mark, - “express 1 hour” options for lunch which ultimately last 2 hours because of the service. I am not questioning the qualification of the servers but rather the organization which drags out the meal. (We once stayed 3 hours for a meal….. 1 hour wait between the starter and the main course….). It would be really important that you remedy this shaky organization which taints the experience in your brand where we take great pleasure.

03/04/2024: Very nice discovery, delicious and refined cuisine, a real treat and we will return.
24/03/2024: From the outside, the restaurant is rather inconspicuous (old building). Modernly furnished inside. Friendly and attentive service. Manageable menu, high prices. But the quality of the food is excellent!! We were very satisfied today and can only recommend this restaurant!
