03/04/2024: This little French bistro is really amazing! The price/performance ratio is very high, the food is very fresh, and most of them are eaten by local French people. French taste but very suitable for Asian stomachs. The service is also a five-star rating!
30/03/2024: From the moment we stepped into L’Essentiel in the bustling Rue d’Alesia, we were greeted with the kind of hospitality that every tourist dreams of. Our waitress, Naoual, was a beacon of warmth and expertise. Being unfamiliar with the local cuisine, we entrusted our palates to her care, and she orchestrated an unforgettable culinary journey for us.
The starter was a symphony of flavors, featuring smoked salmon that melted in our mouths, beets that were a revelation in themselves, and devil eggs that were devilishly good. The gambas salad was a fresh and zesty prelude to the main course, which was nothing short of spectacular.
For the main dish, we indulged in a perfectly seared beef steak that was the epitome of tenderness and a fish with cauliflower that showcased the finesse of French cooking. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s prowess and the restaurant’s commitment to quality.
The grand finale, the dessert, was a trio of classics done right - a crème brûlée with a gloriously caramelized top, a tiramisu that was the right balance of coffee and sweetness, and a chocolate mousse that was sinfully smooth.
L’Essentiel didn’t just serve us food; they served us an experience that we’ll cherish. It’s not just a meal; it’s a memory crafted with care and served with pride. Thank you, Naoual, and the entire team at L’Essentiel, for a meal that was the highlight of our Parisian adventure. 🍽️✨
