From the outside it is inconspicuous and rather intimidating. Looks like a private, poorly maintained front yard with a camping atmosphere. Lots of specialties from Alsace that didn't necessarily appeal to us. We ordered tarte flambée and steak, with a salad. The tarte flambée was very good and the steak was cooked perfectly, just as ordered. Overall, probably an insider tip. The lady could have been a bit friendlier, the service towards us was a bit reserved.

Excellent welcome although it was already a little after 1 p.m. Efficient service and perfectly good dishes. Address to remember in the neighborhood.

Cozy, typical Alsatian restaurant that you like to visit. Try the kitchen's recommendations every now and then... There were four of us there; Visitors at a trade fair in Offenburg... Tarte flambée to start (and also to finish), kidneys, escalopes, salmon and tartare; We were all more than full and it was delicious... Unfortunately this time the kitchen was sizzling for a little too long, so the side dish got a little dark... But, I would definitely recommend it again and again

The welcome is very warm and immediately creates a lovely atmosphere. The dishes are excellent, the products fresh, the meat succulent and tender. The madjes are incredibly good. It's always a party when we go to the Sandkicht.
