As always, very good cuisine. The cocktails are well proportioned and the different flavors go well together. Concerning the dishes, the cooking is mastered, the vegetables are fresh, the presentation is as always essential. The menu is renewed with the seasons and the inventive work of the chef is there. A congratulations to pass on to the staff in training 😉. See you soon

Very nice home. Refined atmosphere for this high-quality gourmet restaurant. The dishes will transport you with the greatest classics of French cuisine revisited. The service is very careful. Simply exceptional. To visit without delay for the most gourmets. Perfect for a romantic evening.

For our engagement weekend, we went through Chartres to stop at the Amphitryon. We were very well received by the head waiter (Damien) and the restaurant staff. We chose food/wine pairing menus. We highly recommend this menu choice! The server who took care of us was very professional and very pleasant. Many thanks to the sommelier (Antoine) who presented the wines to us with great precision. Each wine paired perfectly with the dish. We would also like to thank the cooks who do an outstanding job. Thank you also for printing our food/wine pairing menus, it gives us a nice memory. We had a great time at the Amphitryon and we will come back. Christian Bazantay

01/05/2024: A first time for us in this restaurant. Dinner for two, skewers and andouillette with homemade terrine as a starter. Everything was excellent! With the added bonus of a friendliness of the staff which is very pleasant. However, the price remains a little high for my taste. But the 30 euro menu is worth it. In short, you can go there with your eyes closed.

29/03/2024: Great place for families and vegetarians. It's clean, there's space, variety, a perfectly balanced children's menu, great service and ideally located between the cathedral and a parking lot. Nice stopover and thank you! Besides, many locals come there even during the week.
27/03/2024: We had a great time! The lamb shank is very good and we also loved the adventurer's plate. Impeccable service.
