Restaurant La Couronne sur Rouen

Despite the large crowds, very attentive, friendly service. Good service. Despite the group ordering, the dishes were extremely tasty and attractively presented.

A rustic and authentic place with good traditional cuisine, excellent wines and cheeses. Special mention for the Grand Marnier soufflé.

Very old Rouen institution with pretty old decoration. The servers are helpful and very friendly. The cook is moving up more and more, a real moment of pleasure. And one of the last restaurants to prepare duck Rouen style, cutting and preparing the duck before your eyes with a magnificent silver press.

I stopped by chance for lunch and was more than happy with my experience. The €29 Normandy menu was excellent value with great tasting food. Wonderful ambiance and lovely service too.

Very friendly staff, maybe out of step with this place, but it's perfect! Meal in line with expectations, we will return there to taste the blood duck. Why not 5: the appetizers, the bread, the dishes could be a bit modernized, like the interior (while keeping the spirit of the place naturally) Good address!

A historic place with impeccable food and service, it was delicious

Everything is impeccable here. The service is exceptional and the dishes are exquisite. However, customers must lower their expectations because the prices charged are very affordable, despite the impression of ordering high value dishes.

It's April 2, my husband's birthday. We want to discover the restaurant La Couronne because we have heard good comments. We decide to book. There are four of us this evening. There we arrive in the restaurant, typically Norman, very warm and pleasant. We discovered that several artists had come to discover this very old inn as a starter, we chose the foie gras as well as the oysters very well served generously very fresh. Then we had the roast Danio, and the fish was all delicious. The vegetables were cooked perfectly well, the little carrot puree was delicious velvet, we had the apple pie for dessert as well as the famous millefeuille. The atmosphere was great. The server was attentive. Pleasant smiling patient I recommend the waiter. (Alain.) A mythical place to go to, if only to dine at the same table as Salvador Dalí. It's like dining in a very charming museum, the food is not bad, and the atmosphere is cool. Excessively slow service. I had to get up to get the bill, because I asked for it more than three times.

Good value for money in terms of food. An atypical atmosphere. But how slow is the service...
