Restaurant du trinquet ascain sur Ascain

A hidden gem not to be missed. We stumbled upon this place and so glad we went in. We were amazed by the owner who did everything himself - ordering, serving and cooking. Presentation was fantastic too. Thanks for a lovely meal!

Discreet restaurant in the heart of Azkaine (Ascain) offering refined cuisine full of flavors. The boss made us discover and rediscover the Basque terroir with delicacy and delicacy: we had a great time!! The caramelized Basque pork with porcini mushrooms and piquillos is tender as can be, the homemade fries are tasty, the dessert is very delicious. Thank you for this moment, we will be happy to come back to taste new dishes during our next visit!

Excellent, the dishes are refined. It’s beautiful and it’s good! A very pleasant evening as a couple around Basque gastronomy: talo, azkaina burger, Basque port and soft pistachio dessert and banana tart tatin. I recommend for gourmet gourmets. It's worth the detour if you pass near Ascain or St Jean de Luz!

We went for dinner last night and were very pleasantly surprised, both by the quality and flavor of the food and the attention received. The coulant, the best I have tried so far!!! Eskerrik asko txakurrak onartzeagatik. Laster itzuliko gara Bilbotik!!

I highly recommend ! A very nice discovery by going to this charming restaurant. The cook is a real hidden talent. A good atmosphere, simple but refined in the Basque image. A real pleasure and a real treat.
