Very nice experience. Excellent and tasty tasting for our Etain wedding. ❤️ Special mention for the homemade desserts. Very attentive and warm staff. Well done and good luck! See you soon

Good food, good value for money, however some problems with the service…: - starters arrive 5 minutes after ordering, at the same time as the aperitifs… - corked red wine (it happens, it has been changed), discovered during the meal because we were not given a taste… - no commercial gesture on the part of the manager despite the words of the waiter... Other than that, we ate well.

Bon diner dans un endroit atypique, grande salle type ancien entrepôt avec une belle verrière. Repas intéressant avec de bons produits, plutôt copieux, chose rare, je n'ai pas pu finir le dessert, un millefeuille au marron, mousse au galak (toute mon enfance!). Une belle réussite, service efficace.

Superbe endroit en plein Croix Rousse (ma 2eme fois), un restaurant chic, beau mais sans être pompeux, 'casual chic' est bienvenu et pour tous les âges. Nous avons choisi un plat & un dessert- Somptueuses et généreuses assiettes: la Canette pour moi et pour monsieur Onglet de Veau, les deux cuisinés avec un jus divin et d'une tendresse... avec une purée comme je les aime et de bons petits légumes. C'était parfait. Desserts: la Crème brûlée avec madeleine citron pour monsieur qu'il a adoré, et moi le fondant chocolat & caramel beurre salé: Divin. Service au top, accueillant, et on a même eu droit a un petit cadeau du chef et son jeune coéquipier des plus charmants. 10/10.

Coming to Lyon for a romantic weekend, I inquired about a quality meal based on personal recommendations and gastronomic guides of the city. The place is easily accessible, the setting is pretty from the outside as well as the inside and the staff is pleasant and attentive to the customer. The meal was excellent. Being a regular in gastronomy, I found pretty dishes here both visually and tastefully, very nice play of colors, flavors and textures. The service was fluid and fast, the servers were smiling and very pleasant, good team synergy who love their work and value this beautiful profession which is catering. For my partner's first gastronomic experience, I am more than delighted for a more than affordable price. I recommend and would give you the opportunity to come from Dijon!!! Thanks again for the digestives! We'll come back.

L'Institut Restaurant

06/04/2024: I told our table service in-charge that - I should have booked L'Institut for all the dinner of my Lyon stay. Food, service, enviornment are beautifully delighting, and of high calibre. Even our neighbour diners are gentlewoman and man. We enjoyed it so much. The foie gras is of very high quality, poached in red wine so carrying aroma and pink edges when sliced, not fatty I like it. The roasted prawns on mushrooms tartare also open up stomachs with nice dressing. The slow-cooked beefchuck is not my cup of tea though. My mother liked to make a long-boiled soup with the front underarm meat of pork (not sure it is shoulder inclusive). Well I'm talking about a different meat, but it is what it comes to my mind the slow-cooked red meat more preferred. Overall the experience is five-star!!!! Price is affordable, all-round of good value, at Bellcour a district you won't miss in Lyon. Salut to the restaruant teams.
