Thanks to Mathis for the service! However, the “director” or service manager lets his colleague manage the entire terrace alone while he chats with customers. When he catches our eye, he sends Mathis (who is already very busy) with a disdainful air to serve us. Too bad respect is not on the menu.

Super good waffle. Friendly server. The only downside was a customer who was smoking a cigar, it smelled a little strong... but the restaurant had nothing to do with it.

19/02/2024: Simple environment, student atmosphere, friendly service. Good food, not great.
31/01/2024: I ordered a platter, Burgundy melon, and a glass of Chardonnay. The staff kindly responded in English to us who could not speak French. The three types of oysters were very fresh, and the shrimp and crab meat were plentiful. Please note that bread is provided as an aperitif. It was the best evening I had in Paris!

Le Fumoir

04/04/2024: A classic that has never gone unworthy 15 years after having had your first coffee there. Covid has led many former HQs to change their practices and lose quality, but this is not the case at Le Fumoir (except for the snack formula: the cakes become really tiny). Pleasant service in both the restaurant and bar, good quality cocktails, jazzy soundtrack, breathtaking view.
01/04/2024: Still so pleasant. One of my favorite addresses in Paris 🙏😁
