1st visit to the Moulin d'Allotz, we are received without fuss, the atmosphere is cozy and the meal fantastic. The chef comes by from time to time and comes to greet us when we leave. Very rare, we really appreciate this attention and its simplicity! Congratulations, keep going!

I don't normally like fish... Never, ever have I enjoyed eating it so much. Chef Idiard is truly a great gentleman, he and his team visibly take pleasure in receiving their customers. This culinary break was a great moment for us and we thank you for it. Marie Hélène and Pascal PICHON

Last weekend, we crossed the threshold of Moulin d'Alotz, a gastronomic experience like no other and certainly the best I have had the opportunity to attend. I readily admit to a certain reluctance towards vegetables. They brought the dishes, very elaborate, and each time I told myself that I wouldn't like it. In the end, I loved all the dishes, and I think that's how you recognize a great chef. I cannot recommend this exceptional table enough...

Family lunch this magnificent midday: the generosity of the menu, the surprise of the tastes, the passionate comments of the sommelier on the superb food/wine pairing, the kindness of the service and the smiling chef who comes several times to greet us and chat. A very beautiful and good moment that we will remember for a long time… Thanks to the Moulin d’Alotz team!

A unique experience. We had the opportunity to taste the 4 dishes from the plant-based menu prepared by chef Fabrice, with an unparalleled welcome. We stayed for 3 hours because we wanted to enjoy our experience. We recommend our experience ++.

We had a great time in this conceptual restaurant focused on plants. It's very generous, full of different little dishes to discover. The servers are friendly and well organized and the chef is warm. THANKS.

03/28/2024 The Alotz mill, a gourmet stopover. A place full of serenity and tranquility in a bucolic setting. Bold, creative cuisine, a real palette of flavors with a lovely presentation. A farandole of dishes, each more surprising than the last, without a false note. The culinary walk was exceptional. Nice food and wine pairing. The service is perfectly paced and pleasant. Congratulations chef Fabrice Idiart for taking over this institution, thank you for coming to exchange a few words with us and a big thank you to your team.

09/05/2024: Pleasant lunch with a gourmet menu and a magnificent view of the Basque mountains. A vacation spot that is pleasant to return to. In memory of our dad, a member of this club for many years.

Auberge d'Achtal

20/11/2023: We wanted to eat at the Achtal Inn, hoping to find a slightly relaxed atmosphere. As much as the atmosphere inside is typical of the inn, you eat seated on benches at large tables. The service is also very warm. But the prices on the other hand are worthy of a starred gastro, for example 8 euros for a sugar crepe. In the end for 2 we got for 100 euros. Ultimately we were disappointed because the cuisine was not up to the price, hence the note.
12/11/2023: Service and welcome as exemplary as ever over the years in a purely authentic place, our dishes are always as generous and delicious, the assurance of truly good traditional and family cuisine. A great address to recommend without hesitation 😋
