Worth a detour, booking essential. Fantastic, fresh food, excellent wines, stellar service, all at reasonable prices. Gilles recently completely renovated the restaurant and changed the concept. Now a warm, convivial space with classic Burgundian dishes updated for discerning palates. You can share dishes or order individually, everything we tried was fantastic! Special bonus: one of the only outstanding restaurants in the area that is open *Sunday* and *Monday* nights and offering service after 9pm. The only flaw is that it's not closer to my home!!

What a great discovery 🤩 One night in Mâcon, on our Paris les Alpes route. One of the rare restaurants open on Sunday evening, a very happy coincidence. The food is incredible and very reasonably priced. Delicious wine. And finally the warm welcome. Thank you for this moment, which I hope will become a tradition on the road to our mountain vacation🤞

New formula and very nice new decor. The quenelle is delicious, my pâté en croute was very good, all our dishes were fresh and tasty! A beautiful and good place to visit in spring with its small terrace!

Great restaurant: the quenelle de Sandre and the Dauphonois gratin are simply great Worth the detour on L A6 and more Bravo to the chef and bravo to the welcome and the atmosphere!!

Superb discovery in this place, An authentic and simple restaurant as we like them. Traditional and gourmet cuisine at a very affordable price. A beautiful wine list. Quality service. I highly recommend this place and would come back with great pleasure

La Maison de Bois

31/03/2024: This is the 2nd time we've come and it's still just as good and pleasant. The service is friendly, the setting very pleasant. We will come back for sure!
30/03/2024: I enjoyed this restaurant which is rather well located. I advise you to book a little in advance. I ate at 7 p.m. The hamburger was very good, the pulled beef was well cooked and the bread was nicely browned. There are toilets.
