Maybe not the best idea to go to an Italian restaurant in France. But it was Sunday and most other quality restaurants were closed.

Food good, but not inspiring.
I don't think I can judge everything from a culinary point of view, but today after 2 days I can't remember anything that surprised me.
I was so looking forward to the spaghetti with the oyster or the scampi. But unfortunately there was no lasting experience. Don't get me wrong, it was all good, but nothing that you'll talk about again later.
I had a direct view of the pass in the kitchen. What really irritated me was that the kitchen manager was always addressed as "Chef" by the service staff. Doesn't she have a name? Does she need that to get respect? Sorry, but this kind of behavior among women is completely out of date.
To me it gave the impression of arrogance and infallibility. Nothing of collegiality. Even Bocuse would be irritated. We're not on a TV cooking show.
Conclusion: Italians prefer to eat Italy.

A very very nice taste discovery. If you like to be surprised by original taste combinations, this is the right restaurant. The chef was able to seduce us with each dish by offering us several favorites! The recommended wine was delicious.

I rarely write reviews so when I do, it’s typically an exception. Had the opportunity to dine at Italie La-bas during a brief trip in Avignon. WOW! The food and service was incredible. This definitely ranked as one of the best meals I’ve had. I highly recommend stopping by.

From appetizers to main dishes to desserts, everything is full of surprises, and the portions are very sufficient. Both appetizers consist of two small dishes and bread, and there are also two or three desserts. The meals are full of creativity and the taste is very layered! The service is also very attentive and a satisfying meal
