L'Histoire de... sur Saint-Omer

I'm going to give this place one of my rarely awarded 5 stars. It was recommended to us and lived up to our expectations. A husband and wife team (he is the chef) offering a simple range of menus that, apparently, change quite often and are based on local produce. The food was spectacular, and not at all expensive. We will return next time we are in Saint Omer!

Good 👍 But we can always do more

Located in the heart of Saint-Omer, the Histoire de restaurant takes you on a taste journey through tasty and refined cuisine. Recently, I had the pleasure of discovering their menu, and I must say that the pork belly with cider was a real favorite.

Cozy restaurant where the cuisine is excellent, the products are exclusively fresh and local. The presentation of the plates is just superb. A very nice lunch break I recommend +++

This Tuesday, January 30, we returned for the first time to this restaurant, we were 4 people, we enjoyed ourselves from the starter to the dessert, the price being very reasonable, the aperitifs great, the only disappointment, for the owner who served us, I think, and the cook whom I congratulate, the boss undoubtedly (my wife went to greet him and tell him that we had enjoyed ourselves) the restaurant was empty, you should not hesitate ladies and gentlemen, you you will not be disappointed, we intend to return there even if it is not near us, well done again.....

Set menu approach suits us with enough options. As always, good value and nice place. We keep coming back. Run by a cook husband and serving wife team.
