L'Escale sur Magne

I didn't try the cuisine, but the terrace in the sun, the view of the water and the very good service, very very friendly!

We booked for 6 today, because we had been traveling and wanted to relax before going our separate ways. Arriving a good hour early, we were nevertheless greeted with a smile as warm as the lit insert inside! And it wasn't a superficial smile. I loved the slightly retro style! Several people arrived after us and I didn't have the impression that they waited longer than us, it was quick. We ordered one pancake each and two more for those with a sweet tooth. Mine was simple, ham and cheese but full of flavor and really good. And everyone enjoyed theirs. Dessert, quick to serve too, perfect! My salted butter caramel crepe, killer!😋 As someone who is demanding on salted butter caramel, I scraped the plate, it was ready to be put away!😅 Despite the season, there were people there, proof that the establishment is recognized. Word of mouth begins with the mouth and there it can only be satisfied. Price level a bit more €100... for 6! So honestly, what could be better!? I would have liked to enjoy the terrace and the watercourse, but I hope to have the opportunity to come back... from Tours!!

I had a great time at l'Escale. The place is beautiful with its riverside terrace, the crepes are good and above all I have memorable memories of their ice creams, they are undeniably some of the best I have ever eaten!

Nice stop on the bank of the canal. Fast, pleasant service. Wide choice offered and it's good!!!
