Les Fous de l'île sur Paris

This place was highly recommended by a Parisian friend, and we had high hopes. While it was good, it was not as great as we were hoping. For starter, I had the asparagus soup, which was delicious. For my main, I had the fillet mignon, which, much to my surprise, was almost cooked "well done." I always like beef cooked medium rare and never had to be too specific about this in France, but this was an unhappy accident (maybe its because they seem to be catering mostly tourists that ask for disappointing well done steaks ?). For dessert, I had a chocolate cake, which was a massive disappointment - dry and unremarkable - something that would only be fit if this would be someone's first cake. The service was great, and the sommelier gave us some very good recommendations.

Amazingly tasty food in a cozy setting. Also good with kids (mine are 7yo and 10yo) as long as they are used to something else than fries and a hamburger. Easy to check out the menu and prices on their website.

This trip was my first time to Paris. First time to Europe as a matter of fact. We stayed on the lle Saint-Lois. Our hotel recommended this restaurant. We didn't have reservations. However, they sat us regardless. We've never felt more welcomed at a restaurant. The service, food and ambiance was excellent!

Very good restaurant on Saint Louis Island. Nice atmosphere with music and delicious food. We will come back, for sure!

Excellent meal but difficulty eating the pavlova otherwise nothing to complain about

Recently taken over, very good food but don't be in a hurry. Team a little overwhelmed and lack of smiles... They force you a bottle of water from the start. That day, tartare on the menu, homemade before our eyes. Very cool. Original and very good dessert.

Over time the prices have become unreasonable... Especially the wine list, there are almost no wines left below 100€ per bottle
