A very atmospheric place. Food and drinks very good. The waiter recommended a really great wine. The table was dirty, as was the cutlery. The waiter was nice, but he seemed very busy or tired, which affected the quality of the service.

A friendly place with a magnificent terrace in the heart of old Lille. Pleasant staff and fast service. The cuisine is traditional, with northern specialties.

Very nice place, very pleasant and available servers, a small downside that the plates are not sufficiently generous, especially for the Flemish carbonate.

Location: There is an alley entrance on the street, which is easy to miss. Then you have to walk through an alley to reach the entrance of the restaurant. Food: Since there is no English menu, I relied on Google map reviews + Google photo translate to choose food. I ordered Les specialities de ch Nord > plats > Carbonnade Flamande (nothing to do with Carbonara), which tastes like beef stew in red wine. The sauce is sweet and delicious when spread on French fries or bread. The other one is Salmon Risotto, which has a large portion and the salmon meat is tender and smooth, but the white sauce risotto with cheese slices is a bit greasy and very filling.
