Having read the reviews I arrived with high expectations and I was not disappointed! I dined alone and was given the Chef’s table - pole position to watch the Maestro at work. Fois Gras to start was delicious and the Black Angus Côte de Bœuf was cooked to perfection before my very eyes. The service was impeccable and I was genuinely greeted like a member of the family rather than a guest at a restaurant - wonderful experience and I would definitely return hopefully with my own family next time!

Family atmosphere in this typical Toulouse restaurant, which has existed for 60 years, as its name indicates, we eat skewers there, very reasonable price ☺️

Au Poêle de la Bête

05/04/2024: This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Saint-Aubin district. The menu changes often, which is always a nice surprise. The dishes are really tasty, presented with great attention, and the cuisine is always inventive and creative, offering an exceptional taste experience on each visit (like the thyme custard 😍) I am a regular and have never been disappointed.
26/02/2024: Good beer (8.5€ a pint, rowing 5.5€ during happy hours) and friendly bartender.

05/04/2024: Pleasant service, decent price, unfortunately there are a lot of rules: computers are not allowed on tables outside, the majority of tables on the terraces are non-smoking and perhaps there were other rules that we were not concerned with. .. I would have liked it to be stated more clearly before consuming something.
